Mars nodded slowly. "Daddy never mentioned, Shadow pack..." He looked around, gulping. What if she was a bad lady?

"He didn't? His best friend was my mate," Chako said. HAKURI! You didn't tell your own kid! I'll get you for it someday!

"Wait... What is shadow pack?" He cocked his head, smiling. He was a pup after all. You can't expect him to know everything.

[SilverHund]

"Oh, it's a pack of nice wolves and dogs. I'm a dog," Chako said, ""Did your father ever speak of a wolf named Yara?"

Mars thought quickly, nodding with a small smile. "Daddy told us that he helped him. That he helped him to change." He wagged his tail, catching up with Chako. "Why? Who is he?"

"Yara is my mate and father of my pups," Chako said, proud that Hakuri had told his children of the wolf that had been his best friend.

Mars smiled at Chako. "You having pups?" He cocked his head, putting his paws on her side. "Really?"

"Yes, very soon at that," Chako laughed at his enthusiasm.

Mars jumped up and down. "Exciting!" He was happy for her. "How many? What are they going to be called? Who are the godparents? How long till they are born? ...?" He was bouncing up and down with excitement.

"A few days. We don't know how many but if you like, I can name one after your dad," Chako chuckled. Her tail wagged. He was such a friendly child. "The godparents are Rako and...Ink"
