Please understand that religion can be a rather touchy subject, so some people may not want to talk about it in detail. Catholics and Christians are very different though, for example, Catholics pray to Mary among other saints and things while Christians pray to God and God alone. That is just one example that I could think of right away<3

why only men can be priests and bishops and popes and all that? why do women can't?

To answer this...God tells us that men are to be the head of the household, and the providers. So at least what my family believes is that Men should be pastors because God put them in a position to lead, does that kind of make sense? Here is a verse that may help:

Let a woman learn quietly with all submissiveness. I do not permit a woman to teach or to exercise authority over a man; rather, she is to remain quiet. 1 Timothy 2:11-12

To the woman he said, “I will surely multiply your pain in childbearing; in pain you shall bring forth children. Your desire shall be for your husband, and he shall rule over you.” Genesis 3:16

Well, don't get the wrong idea from those verses- God certainly wasn't anti-woman, and he also made commandments to the men, that they needed to love and work together with their spouse.
