@Raven Oh Gawd don't get me started on my parents. Well, my mum mostly too. At least my dad read the books, although December of last year (right before TH came out) was the first time he had seen the movies *faceplam*

I feel sorry for you. At least my parents know what it is... I think my dad has read the books... Not sure though. Both of them have seen the movies. I am lucky that I have at least one friend at school that knows what I am talking about when I start babbling about LoTR, and another who has seen the Hobbit and has a vague idea.

At the homeschool co-op I go to most people at least know about it. I'm only at the co-op for an hour and a half once a week though
