Wolves are predators, which are very important to the ecosystem. If we had no wolves, we'd have a lot of overpopulation problems.

But they are barelly extint and there is no overpopulation. Besides, there are predators way more essential than wolves around the globe

I'm sorry but I think you have some things to research/think through.
Wolves are a part of a group known as a "key stone species". This means that without them, the ecosystem would collapse. We've seen it before in Yellowstone.
Before wolves were re-introduced there, the elk and bison population had started completely destroying the forests. In turn, delicate ecosystems in rivers in streams started to deteriorate. This is because the fish living in those rivers and streams needed a certain temperature to thrive. Without the trees to shade them, they got sick and many of them died.
After wolves were reintroduced, they regulated the prey populations and the forest grew back and continued to grow- fixing all the previous problems. It's like a domino effect.
If one animal is taken, the rest slowly collapse.

So really, we don't care if "there are predators way more essential than wolves around the globe" wolves are still needed, and they are needed here.
We know that they are not endangered, that's why there are hunting regulations put upon them.

Yes I agree c: it all depends though. The wolves most people are talking about are gray wolves, which have a stable population in most places.

Well... when you kill wolves, they actually don't have pups or a family depending on them, when hunting season comes around wolf pups are old enough to fend for themselves. Except in cases of poaching, the whole pups becoming orphans due to hunting excuse is a myth. That's what the hunting season is for, and to keep the population controlled. I don't know the laws of the UK or other countries, but this is at least the case for Canada and the US.

And I find you burying the wolf instead of using it very... Wasteful. Ever animal killed should be used. The pelt could have been taxidermied and admired, or used as clothes to keep warm. The meat could have been sold... Many people can find uses for meat, yes even wolf meat. The bones could have been used as crafts, kept as is, or sold. Yes the wolf was "going back to the earth", but it's still a waste. At least make use of some of the animal.

Excuse me? And didn't you read a thing I said? Wolves are only killed during a season when the pups can fend for themselves. They aren't a family like humans are, if a wolf dies, they don't grieve, they move on unless they want to die themselves. That's nature.
