A forest with a beach right next to it.

He woke up from the peaceful slumber, still wrapped around himself with his black legs tucked tightly under his body. He uncurled himself, standing slowly to his feet. He glanced around, hoping to avoid any early morning snapping due to the coloring of his coat. He began walking towards the nearest water source he knew, a small river that cut through most of the forest.

He had been up since early that morning, walking around. Stopping at a bush he began reaching his head in and pulling out, taking whatever berries he could find within the reaches to the bush. By the time he was finished his snout was covered in a light red color. Not that it bothered him to any extent, he simply wiped away the juice and began walking around.

Shallomayne (f);;
Mayne yawned slowly as she sat up and stretched her legs. "Good morning, Shyla. I trust you had a good night's rest?" she said, looking up at the black dragon lying on a thick tree branch above her. "Yeah, whatever. I'm sure you don't really care either way," replied Shyla, dangling her tail down and yawning as she regarded the older dragon below her. "And why, I ask again, do you speak so poshly? It's not as if you've been whisked straight from the past where they actually spoke like that." Mayne snorted and raised an eyebrow at Shyla, sitting up taller. "Well, it is good to keep up some decent manners and etiquette when conversing with others. It's just proper." She sighed at the younger dragon's careless demeanor and seemingly rude manner of speaking. "I wouldn't expect you to know anything of that sort, being so careless as yourself."

She snorted and stood on the branch, then jumped down from the tree gracefully. "Well, if I'd act anything like you, then no, I don't know anything about that stuff." She turned and bounded towards the small river that made its way through the forest, leaving a stunned dragon behind. She smiled to herself. Shallomane, zero. Shyla, one. She slowed down as she neared the river, sensing that she wasn't alone. She crouched low to the ground and searched the forest for what she sensed, and saw movement a little ways off. She almost lay on the ground in the shadows as she watched the form moving through the forest and she soon saw that it was a dragon. She relaxed a bit but kept watching to see what the dragon would do.

Far off from the others, a large red dragon awoke from a heavy slumber. Shaking her head, the young thing payed no regards towards others. Her name? Aku. Her element? Fire. But, she still seemed rather dull...
