Lobeliakit stumbled, following her mother and siblings out from the den, scrunching her nose up in disgust as the light pierced her eyes.

Zinniapaw sat beneath the high rock, searching Brighteyes expression for any sense of hope, though her attention seemed to be focused on her apprentice.

Stormfeather walked in, setting a paw after a paw, his steps light and inaudible. He had a gaunt look to face, along with his scrawny body and tall figure, which made him look like some sort of Halloween cat. He looked around silently, staring at all the felines. Softly he sat down. It took him forever to find this territory and to locate the camp, but he had made it. Now all he needed was to be confronted.
Instead of taking a more direct approach than Stormfeather. Morningsong waited at the border for a border patrol. She could smell the cat scent and maybe they could help her find this kitten a good home. He hadn't had milk for days, it looked like, and he was very hungry. Her heart raced faster as she thought about it. Morningsong could only hope some cats would stumble upon her.
