"Atually, I was thinking Brighteyes would be perfect." Scarletstar meowed. "She's proven her loyitly and bravness."

Zinniastem raised an eyebrow, thought about her choice, and then nodded approvingly. "She wont be expecting it." She mused, trying to wonder who would. "Is she the only candidate?" Zinniastem asked, wondering whether she was sure of her decision or not.

"I don't know yet." Scarletstar meowed, thinking.

Zinniapaw nodded finally, and parted the bracken so that Scarletstar could enter. Her mentor's, and leader's bodies were gone, buried the night before. With a deep sigh, she accepted the fact that Silentgaze wasn't coming back, but she'd live forever in her dreams, in Star Clan.

"Scarletstar!" Rootclaw called, cheering as he watched the she-cat walk in. It wasn't long until the others had noticed, and soon the whole Clan was cheering her name, welcoming her as their leader. "Welcome back!" Fireleaf called, sticking close to Firefly's side.

Scarletstar nodded. She did this when Darkstar had gotten his leader name too. "Dont forget about Zinnastrem now too!" She purred, watching the medcicne cat come in.

Zinniastem purred under her leader's warmth, and felt the eyes of the Clan drift to her. "Now's the time." She whispered to Scarletstar, before bounding over to the high rock to take a seat beneath it.

Scarletstar nodded and follwed her. She went passed and happily bounded up the high-rock. "Let all cats old enough to cat their own prey, gathering under the high-rock for further imformation!"

Slowly Russetleap woke, looking down at her tiny kits. Yesterday had been their first day out of the nursery, and she just couldn't get over how cute they were. And to think I swore never to have kits... She had thought. But now, Scarletfeather, now Scarletstar, was back. After the death of both leader and medicine cat, the whole Clan had been devastated, and she had decided not to leave the den. Slowly she nudged the kits, "Time to get up," She whispered, "It's a Clan meeting." Once they were up, she herded them from the nursery, and sat huddled by the entrance.

Fireleaf sat next to his brother, with Fireleaf on his other side. It felt odd without Russetleap flanking the side that Firefly occupied, though he knew she had more important things to do then fuss about her siblings.

Brighteyes sat near Lionpaw, her apprentice, watching the young tom. It was about he became a warrior. Although there was more for him to learn, he had worked hard, and deserved it. She would always see herself as his mentor, whether he like it or not.

Yuccapaw sat close to Koipaw, enjoying the warmth of the clan. "I almost forgot what this felt like!" She whispered excitedly into his ear as the cats grew quiet.

Wernkit yawned, parting his jaws.

Scarletstar annoced. "I have had time to think who will be my new deputy!"
