Cricketpaw glanced up. "She's staying. She doesn't want to come back."

Cardinalswipe took a deep breath, and sighed. He lifted his gaze from the smaller tom, and skimmed the far away tree tops. "Is it that she does not want to come back," He began, slowly turning his gaze back on the apprentice, "Or that she is angry?"

Brighteyes' ears flattened against her head at the scent of the unmistakable stench of blood. Trying to remain calm, she watched Lionpaw, "What do you smell?" She whispered, not wanting yet to alarm the others.

"Blood," Lionpaw whispered.

"She's staying." Cricketpaw repeated.

[-Bacon]

Brighteyes nodded curtly, standing up tall. Although he was only an apprentice, he could scent the same that she did. "Scarletfeather," She called, moving up to meet the deputy, "There's blood scent." She mewed quietly, warning the she-cat."

Cardinalswipe rolled his eyes, and charged into the bush. "Yuccapaw?" He called stubbornly.
Instinctively, the she-cat spun around, trying desperately to wipe the tears from her ears. She watched as Cricketpaw's older brother trudged through the bush.
"You're coming with us." He announced, picking her up by the scruff.
"No!" She protested, flailing her limbs, but it was no use. "Put me down!" She protested.
"As long as you come with us." He mumbled through a mouthful of her fur.
"Fine!" She wailed, "Just put me down!"
Cardinalswipe placed the she-cat on the ground and led her from the bush, to where Cricketpaw stood.
Yuccapaw wore a frown, her tail lashing from side to side as she walked with the toms.

Cricketpaw ignored the shecat now. He walked ahead.

"Where?" Scarletfeather asked. A sharp yowl came from Lionpaw.

Cardinalswipe walked between the two silent apprentices the whole time, watching both of them with a furrowed brow. "What ever you two argued about," He began, his tone deep with age, "You need to get over it."

"Over-" Brighteyes began to explain to Scarletfeather, before a piercing yowl escaped Lionpaw, immediately she bounded over to the tom, "What's wrong?!" She gasped

"Not until she says sorry first." Cricketpaw growled.

"Darkstar!" Lionpaw meowed, pointing to their dead leader. The floor was covered in his blood.

"Says you..." Yuccapaw muttered in annoyance, her tail still lashing from side to side.

"Oooooh joy...." Cardinalswipe sighed, rolling his eyes, "This is going to be a long trip home..."

Brighteyes' gaze grew wide with horror as she followed Lionpaw's past a bush, not far off into the distance. "Darkstar!" She yowled, bounding toward the cold, limp tom.

Cricketpaw rolled his deep blue eyes. He stopped when he smelt the Clan!

Lionpaw watched as Brighteyes and Scarletfeather rushed over.

A slightly annoyed look flooded Fallenpaw's gaze as his mood changed entirely. "Good for you." he murmured, turning his back to Silentpaw. "You got me." He stood, and walked out of the training area.

Silentpaw gazed back at Fallenpaw. "Huh. What's wrong with him I wonder?" she murmured to herself. "Would you like to train?" she asked, turning to Koipaw, cocking her head. Right then, she heard a shriek. "What... What was that?" she asked, gulping and turning towards the sound.
