With the Blue Tox, I was ad have been trading them down for Sorb + balloon, as well as up. I found offering anything lower people would cancel because it is unfair to them apparently. Whilst the demand is low, I think it is worth a little more then a Red Rose gap.

I also think that the UR cat needs to be moved down a little. A LOT less people are looking for them these days compared to a few months ago, and I finally managed to trade it off for something like this.

Went through my notes and found these:

- moonswirl = 3 nons and 2 sorbets
(source 1 (Jan 2013))

- plains zebra = 2 sunbacks
(source 1 (Feb 2013))

- coontail = 2 nons
(source 1 (Dec 2012))

I wouldn't consider that a good trade to look at for this because Sunback has such high demand. So, I would say you overpaid for the Sunback rather than were unpaid for the UR Cat, if I was to describe that trade.

But I would also consider this an outlier (in the other direction) because I'd been chasing UR Cat since 2008 so was prepared to pay well for it (plus it's crazy hard to find UR Cats).

Edit: Hang on, isn't a Sunjewel supposed to be worth 2 Zebras? When I add up the values in the gap list (I also had Sunjewel at 5 nons), that adds up to around 6 nons. Whut?

With regards to something like this. It's kind of like what I said about some people paying UR Cats for sunbacks. The problem is that it's quite the rare pet (the UR Cat that is) to be honest. It's demand might not be very high, but it's still decent enough that people will pay for its high list value. It's in the same boat as say, a spotted tribal or GWJ or cucumber. They don't have very good demand or anything, but if you're patient and know how to pull off some effectively trades and all the ins and outs of trading that I can't say =P then you can still get full value for it. I've traded off 2-3 UR Cats in the past 6 months and I've managed to get 2 nons + 2 sorbets in value for them each, which is why I suggested it stay up there. It's not something like the banana, which I do kind of feel bad for. But likewise, the banana deserves to be up there irregardless in a sense.

@nickjr The zebra value is fascinating to see. Don't generally think of it that way. Given that I kind of agree with Komi and can see the sunback moving up to a coon easily though, that value would be overpriced for the zebra then (despite its extreme rarity [demand qq]).

... something just occurred to me.

When the zebras were last moved, did the move account for low demand, or was their demand still decent at the time? If they had low demand when they were last moved, and then they suddenly get what seems to be consistently high demand when their lines get changed (purely theoretical)...

Should we even be discussing zebra worth before their lines get changed? xD;

As far as I know the last Zebra move was just to put the Grevy on the same line as the Plains instead of directly below it. Since 2011 I don't think the Zebras have shifted around much? No idea before then.

For my Zebras, I paid:
Mountain + UR Cat = Sunjewel (the UR Cat was the main part of that trade for me)
Grevys = Nonswirl + advents/vr fodder x
Plains = Noncoon + Grinner + C$300 x

So nowhere near their Rares List values apparently D: I didn't realise it at the time.
I was low on fodder so that was the best I could do for them anyway; but people were happy to trade that for them. I am wondering if the extra non needed to get up to Dogtag & the Zebs is really correct. Especially if the Sunjewel is valued at 5 nons; that would make the Dogtag & Zebs only 2.5 nons. But do people really pay over 2 nons for them?

I'm not taking into account negative demand, but their actual rarities & somewhat demand. But I want to put all the zebras on the same line, but I don't think they've been moved in a long time.

Some of the rarities might not add up /exactly/ but should be more consistent than before. Is the zebra one the only really off one?

Solloby, can you explain exactly what you mean by the dogtags and zebras being 2.5 nons? Didn't quite catch on or follow how you got that. And do you mean like, the non used to go from a coontail to a dogtag?

Not saying you're wrong about anything, just didn't quite follow along and get your intentions / reasoning exactly.
