Kia walked over to Karrie and whined, "Don't die. I'm not ready to take over as alpha." A tear fell from her muzzle. Chako followed and put her head on Kia's back. "She won't. Karrie is strong," She said in a confident way.

Chako turned around. "The leader came back and attacked us," Chako said angrily. How could that traitor attack his former friends and family? Only the lowest of the low commited such crimes.

Ghost shook his head. "Don't thank me until she is all healthy again. I've done what I need to do, but I'm not sure whether I got here in time..." He looked down at Rako, the pup had, if she lived through this, saved her life. With a smile, he looked back at Willow. "You raised him well. He isn't experienced enough to heal her type of wounds yet, but he did the next best thing and called for us."

Teru and Fuji looked at each other, then looked around the cave. "Where's Chiyo?"
"Is he out there?" Fuji tilted her head, looking out of the cave entrance.
"I'm down hereeee!" Came a muffled voice.
Teru suddenly jumped up with a yelp and spun around, his eyes wide in fright.
Chiyo grumbled and slowly sat up, coughing loudly. "Watch where you're sitting..." He coughed.
"Sorry!" Teru giggled, helping Chiyo to stand up.
Teru and Fuji looked at each other, then looked around the cave. "Where's Chiyo?"
"Is he out there?" Fuji tilted her head, looking out of the cave entrance.
