Yes, we are Fighters. We have fire in our blood. We protect each other, defend and respect our way of life. Who are we? We are the Antlered Guardians of Destera.

We have survived the centuries in the rural outlands of Northern Russia, far from human contact and other influences. We live in prides of around 20, and are very territorial. We resemble large cougars, with long manes starting at the back of our heads down to our mid-back. Our hind legs are tufted with fur as well. We have large,pointed antlers which we use as our main defense. We are aggressive, temperamental, and very proud. We are loyal to our prides, believe in our traditions, and every one of us will fight to the bitter end to sustain our way of life.

☞ This is a range of literacy to welcome anyone. However, there will be no one-liners, good spelling/grammar is expected, etc. And just to note, it is common courtesy to put in what you get. So if your partner is giving you two paragraphs, it is only polite to give at least a paragraph in return.
☞ I prefer for posts to be pretty. So if it' not to much trouble, please make and use a 'header' for your characters. This just helps keep all the characters organized, especially once we have several members.
☞ This is MY roleplay. I will have mods, but unless I give you permission, you are not in charge of any other player.
☞ No spam. If you have a problem, take it to PM. I don't want a ton of OOC, unless its accompanied by an actual RP post in character.
☞ If you have a character site, you may post a link to your page instead of a traditional form. However, you must keep your page updated. The link must be directly to your AGD, not to your profile,etc. If you have more than one AGD, then you need more than one link.
☞ We will make a new pride for every 20 AGD's. If you want your character to be a leader of a new pride, PM me. I will put you on a waiting list so when we max out a pride, your character will assume the leader. I will either accept or deny your character being leader based upon your activeness, attitude, and roleplay quality.
☞ I only take reservations for 24 hours unless you PM me if you need more time.
☞ Higher ranks will be split. Some spots will be for moderators of AGD's, artists, and owners. Others spots will be open to anyone, but will have to be earned.
☞ I have the right to accept or reject you. I also have the right to change or add any of these rules.
☞ You will make your own form. If you use another user's form, give them credit.
☞ Be kind to everyone. Any other user has the right to be here just as much as you do.
☞ And lastly, all Tess's rules apply.

Official Achive & Information Thread

➢ Make sure you read the Main Information Thread before asking any questions you might have.
➢ Prides are in groups of fourteen individuals.
➢ There are 1-2 pride leaders. If two, they will usually be siblings or mates.
➢ Under the leaders are subordinate leaders, more commonly known as commanders. There are usually 2-4 f them, and they will help the leaders and keep the pride running smoothly.
➢ Also under the leaders, is the shaman. He/she is a healer, and very wise. They are a guide for the leader(s).
➢ Breeding season for AGD's start in Febuary, and cubs are born in late May. The entire pride will raise the 1-3 litters. Not all females have cubs every year. They will have new litter every 3 years, so only a couple of litters are born every spring.
➢ Some males will choose to mate for life, or remain bachelors, changing their mate every three years.
➢ Territory Patrols are constant, usually with two commanders around the territory on patrol themselves at a time in case of invasion. Commanders are the brains of the operation, with the leaders making the executive decisions.
➢ There are usually 5-8 patrols a day. This lessens during the winter and in rain.
➢ All AGD's hate rain, and try to avoid being caught out in foul weater. They will also avoid swimming and snow.
➢ Males do have larger antlers than females
➢ Antlers are used as more of a defense than a weapon, although they could inflict serious damage.
➢ Although adults' antlers do not shed extensively, adolesent AGD's antlers will shed around 4 times before their more permentant rack grow in.

Hello, my name is Reshkomanan, pronounced Reesh-com-ay-aine. I am 11 or twelve years of age. My birth pride all died off to discease when I was quite young. I am gentle, warm hearted but have a hate list you do not want to be on. I am looking for a pride and a mate. If it is possible, I would like to be a leader, and if not I will settle for another available ranking. Did I mention I was a female? Well, I suppose I have now. I have never had cubs, but I would like to settle down and have some the next breeding season. I belive that is all. My link will be posted tomorrow.

Phelan flicked his ears and lowered his antlers. He clawed the ground and snarled, threatening the loner male that had entered the territory. When the male refused to back down, he charged. All antlers and fury, Phelan collided with the other guardian, shaking his rack with a terrible force. The other challenger actually looked surprised at the force in which Phelan had struck him, and was momentarily dazed. Taking advantage of his circumstances, Phelan lunged forward, taking the other male's shoulders into his mouth, and bit down. HARD. Shrieking, the challenger turned and fled, leaving a triumphant and some-what blood covered Phelan behind.

Personality:
Salim has a hard-to-crack personality as he puts barriers up that refrain individuals from seeing the 'true' Salim. Of course, the only person who would be able to see this side of him will be that one other AGD that steals his heart, and because of that I shall not write about that Salim until the time is right. Instead, what Salim likes to be seen by as others is cold, bitter, and cynical. He likes to keep to himself and isn't rather kind to those around him. He is depressive to be arround, but this is only a barrier. If you were to get to know Salim, you'd see that none of this is the true him.
