Username: dragoncatofpern
Cat number: 3
Cat name: Rainkit (to become Rainfall probably)
Age: 4 moons old
Warrior cat? Yes
Rank: kit currently but I'm hoping for medicine cat
Personality: Rainkit is ambitious with a fiery temper. He likes to play active games and fight, mossball, and jumping on his littermates. Rainkit wants to be a warrior as soon as possible so he can "go off and fight those mangy River/Shadow/Wind/Thunderclan cats." He loves his family very much and would do anything to save them, including destroy the rest of the clan. Rainkit is brave and boisterous as kits go.
Quirks: Decorates his den with feathers, snakeskin, etc.
Story/art:
Once upon a time, there was a kit named Rainkit, He had a fiery temper, and loved to fight. He grew, became an apprentice, and then a fight started, as tends to happen. When the time came to fight, Rainpaw was among the front lines as a good fighter. Unfortunately for the poor young, battle-hungry kit, he was maimed in his first fight. A cat, he doesn't know who, slashed at his eyes and blinded him. Rainpaw was carefully tended by the medicine cat, but felt worthless in any case now that he could not fight. Rainpaw waited until everyone in the camp was asleep before sneaking away to a barn he knew of. Rainpaw didn't leave for many moons, then. He lived on a farm, all alone, angry and ambitiou still until he met a she-cat named Foxfire. She was a loner, a ginger short hair with golden eyes. Before she met Rainpaw, Foxfire had been a sailor's friend until he had to move across the ocean to America. The two fell in love. Rainpaw mellowed out under the influence of Foxfire, and they were happy. They had three kits together: Dew, Night, and Moon. Until one day, the barn caught fire. Foxfire and Rainpaw got seperated in the confusion and Foxfire died at last, saving Dew from the fire. Rainpaw watched her die, and never found the body or his kits.
Rainpaw, at a loss, returned to his clan as sightless as he had been when he left. Rainpaw was welcomed back, if cautiously. He became medicine cat, and was gentle and calm now instead of fiery and battle-hungry. His name changed; Rainpaw became Rainfall. The seasons passed and Rainfall watched the aggressive young apprentices as they went off to fight, boasting about their prowess. But he was always listening, and held in reserve always a quiet but poignant rebuke, reminding the apprentices they aren't immortal. To those few that would listen, Rainfall was younger than he appeared, and they became solemn quickly enough to learn what happened to Rainfall. And to those that wouldn't, Rainfall simply patched them up and hoped that the next cat laid out in the clearing wouldn't be one of them.
