Cloverheart looked up to the moon. He waited for Reedstar to say the new deputy. He looked up to his leader as his name was called to be the new deputy. It was an honor to be the clan deputy. Cloverheart dipped his head in acceptance and made his way up to stand by Reedstar. Cloverheart looked over the clan. "I accept the rank of being your deputy. I am honored and will give it my all." He said and stepped back a little. Then Splashpaw called out and he looked to his leader.

Honeypaw was so happy that her dad was made deputy. She was overjoyed. She waited to see what would take place next. Or if they were just to leave the meeting.

Poolfern yawned. I guess I'll go and hunt...The other's are at the Gathering. She thought to herself. Then Poolfern quietly stood and padded out of camp to hunt. When she was far enough, she paused to hear if anything was around her. A heartbeat later Poolfern scented a Starling. It was pecking at the ground. She got into a hunting crouch and slowly moved up. When she was close enough, Poolfern launced herself into the air and at the Starling. Poolfern felt the bird feathers under her paws, she leaned down and killed it with a quick bite to the neck. She picked up the Starlings limp body and padded back to camp.

He sat among the other apprentices, gazing at Adderpaw curiously. What was his problem? But now he'd dug up so much loose dirt and roots that the passing kits were bound to trip into it. Shouldn't he be happy that the clan was just appointed a new deputy? He shrugged internally as his eyes flicked back to watching Cloverheart and Reedstar, tail lazily curled around his paws.

Splashpaw looked over her shoulder, cats were coming in. She looked and saw many other cats.

So far, Splashpaw and Honeypaw were appointed new mentors, Cloverheart was made deputy, and Daisy has left the camp leaving Adderpaw in shock because that was his mother. I think that's really it. ;o

ReedStar sat, surprise filling his gaze. He blinked calmly. "It seems as if many cats are leaving us." He mused. "Is it of my leadership?" He sighed and shook his head. "No matter. SplashPaw, you shall also be appointed a new mentor. WhiteSky will be your new mentor." He mewed dipping his head to the tom. "I trust that he will pass down his skills and wisdom to you...." He stood, raising his tail. "That is all for now. Continue with your duties." He then leaped off the boulder and beckoned CloverHeart to his den.

Hickorypaw sat down too. The meeting ended and Nightshade had not come for him yet. So Hickorypaw might as well mingle with the other clan cats. He hadn't meet them all yet. He was only six moons. "My name is Hickorypaw. My dad is Cloverheart and my sister is Honeypaw." He said to the she-cat.

Splashpaw looked over to Whitesky. Whitesky was a cool cat. Splashpaw was glad to have them as her mentor. The tom had so much experience. Splashpaw has had many other mentors before Whitesky. But she felt a connection with the tom. He would see her into her warrior ceremony. She touched noses with him and sat beside Whitesky.

Cloverheart jumped off the bolder and followed Reedstar. He walked to the leader's den and waited for the tom to speak. Cloverheart knew that there would be more meetings like this from now on. He couldn't help but wonder what this was about. Maybe StarClan had said something. Or maybe Reedstar was just going to talk to him.
