True that. I've experienced a good bunch of people trying to sell me fish that arent compatible with those I have.
Your goldies will need alot of space, since they produce a lot of waste and get big. If you keep them in such a small tank you will stunt their growth, however their organs will keep growing. Obviously causing a painful death.
You should always do some research on the fish you plan on getting, so you don't get tricked. ^^

I'm sure it's fine, the tank is quite big, they are small compared to the tank.
The fish will keep growing, even if the tank is 'big' compared to them right now. My friend's {hopefully mine soon} has too comet goldfish in a ten gallon that they can hardly turn around in. Both are about 6 inches.
Though what you could do is by a 70 gallon filter and one of those 40' gal tubs you can buy for like ten bucks until you can afford a bigger tank.

I asked my Dad, it is 30 litres. He said that it's fine. I already said, if they outgrow the tank we'll just buy another tank that they can fit into. The man in the pet shop was saying that they would outgrow it eventually, but it was fine for now.
