ouo I started working on art of the sun pepper elkrin doe, and getting practice on the deer anatomy soo what do you guys think?

That looks great so far! The front shoulder looks a bit awkward to me, but everything else looks amazing.

Looks good, though seems a bit chubby. As for the shoulder, when a deer leans down, the shoulders can see out of place such as

I like the chubbiness. ^^ It's really good. I think the problem with the shoulder is with the foreshortening. The top of the shoulder isn't as foreshortened as it needs to be compared to the rest of the leg. I think you can fix it by taking the line above the elbow joint (where the shoulder connects at the arm pit) and making it more vertical, if that makes sense. So it appears as if the bulge of muscle is in front of the elbow joint. (Hope that made sense) If you want to fix it that is, as I think it looks awesome as it is.

Ah! I wish I could... I'm on my phone at the moment and don't have my computer. Anyway, it's such a small thing. I'm not really good at redlining anyway. XP I think it looks great regardless! I can't wait to see it colored.

I am officially going to start the roleplay! I need to actually write everything up, but if you're interested in joining, you are now welcome to send a basic form of the character you plan on using, and a two-five paragraph sample of writing-- doesn't necessarily have to be writing with that character, but I won't object to you using the sample to write as them either ^^

As said before, Verdana's got an immediate pass-- and actually, Verdana, would you be able to PM me so we can work out your character's role in this?

Hey commander, have you any idea about how many people were going to join this? I'd love to join, as I've been wanting to role-play my rider and elkrin for a while now in a more literate setting, but I can't handle something fast paced or more than three or four other people... ;-;

Including myself and Verdana, there will be like.. three more people, four max (so a total of 5-6 at most). As for pacing, it'll be pretty lax ^^ Life gets in the way, as does writer's block, as long as there's a post from everyone a week I'll be content xD

I'm really glad that everyone likes the sculpture! I managed to add tail fluff to him today, so here's another picture. I'll have a step-by-step thing up over the weekend, or tomorrow if I find the time.
