Caeldrim whipped around at the sudden scream that came from behind him. An elf not a yard away from him toppled from his mount, already dead before he hit the ground. A long silvery shaft bristling with black feathers protruded from his back. From the darkness there came a long piercing wail that was a harsh imitation of the elf's last call....
The well-ordered company immediately burst into chaos. Some fired wildly into the darkness, while others unsheathed their swords and prepared to charge into battle. Many horses went mad and screamed, throwing off their riders....
"Û! Daro! DARO!" (No! Stop! STOP!) Caeldrim's shouts landed on deaf ears as he tried desperately to reorder his company, when suddenly he was seized by a sudden terror....

From the shadows lurking in front of him a tall figure stepped forward. It was man-high and yet not quite a man, and seemed to be swathed in dark robes. From its hidden brow a tall crown stretched out and held in front of the figure was a long naked sword that glinted in the dark; one of the long lost Morgul blades. With horror Caeldrim recalled the name of the dreaded being that loomed before him, the dark name that echoed in the most ominous of legends...

Oh gosh.
Half of me just wants to kick off my shoes, jump up on a table in front of everyone and sing a dwarvish song translated into Sindarin... Weirdest impulse in the world. XD
The other half is quietly slinking off into my room to read The Hobbit, draw and make the first half be quiet.

I've really got to post some of my fanart. It's just so embarrassing for me...

Geez.
For the past 12 hours it's been raining on and off and thunder keeps waking me up. I live next to the river and it got super-flooded. And I can't even use this as an excuse not to go to school because none of the roads on the way are flooded. Dangit God! Why do you taunt me?

I stopped reading FotR for a looooooooooong time, and now I'm lost.

I remember this book I read and the ending made me so mad I refused to read the next one. Then my mom convinced me to read the second one, but I decided to re-read the first one before. Then it made me mad all over again and I still haven't read the second one.
