From the research I've done on the subject, it would seem that the video game industry has largely been unhampened by the current state of the economy-- growing at a rapid rate and having a high demand for experienced/qualified workers.

Yeah the game industry is quickly growing. I've been told I was "lucky" by just about everyone I know in other majors since I've just about been guaranteed a job when I graduate

Well, I really love TWEWY, as you can probably tell. Fantastic game. It had me hooked with the artstyle, but the music, story, and gameplay are really exceelent as well! I'm really hoping for more news on Hype-chan soon. I'd so love a sequel!

I myself am considering attending a college for the video game design industry once I finish high school ^^ Very nice field to be in...now if only the economy would give some good jobs or respect for it >.<

I am dying waiting for Dead Island Riptide to come out; though I'm so slow with the first one, the fourth one will be out by the time I finish ;-;

anyone else who plays L4D2 here, can you tell me a way to '"properly" kill a jockey?(As in without it touching you. I already know how to properly kill a hunter, though) Is it just a trial and error thing?

In a preview for a horror game in an old issue of ONM, the beginning was about handheld horror games, and the end of the paragraph said: "Just look at the number of sucsessful handheld horror titles. Games such as... Um, does Spirit Tracks count? It does star a ghost, after all." X3
