charlie grins and heads out of his room to the stairs. "get ready to hold you sock lest they get rocked off."

Damon chuckled, honestly a bit nervous now to see what Charlie had in store. He followed the boy out with a smirk," this better be good with all the pent up excitement..." he said.

Charlie chuckles, "Sure," he opens the door to the roof and heads up the ladder. "Watch your step, the ladder is more rickety than it seems."

Damon but his lip not so sure about this," a-alright.." He said shakily as he clime the ladder. Every so often having a mini heat attack as it creaked.

Charlie offers a hand to help him up. "Come on, it's beautiful up here."

Damon took the boys hand as he was pulled up next to him.

Charlie smiles and waves his hand at the greenhouse filled with roses. "Each rose has a different meaning." He picks a white one and a lavender colored one and gives it to him. "THis white one means Purity, Innocence . . . and 'I am worthy of you'. The lavender one means enchantment and love at first sight."

Damon smiled as he saw the sea of different colored roses. He had to admit he was really impressed with his garden, and chuckled in complete fascination," wow.... this...this is amazing. Its so pretty, and inviting. Its just... wow.." he said hardly noticing Charlie pick the two flowers. He turned as Charlie began to talk and handed him the roses. Damons cheek glowed brightly in a blush as he explained their meaning, "oh...". Damon couldn't believe it. His entire life he had known nothing, but hatred and rejection. "Thank you.." he said softly with a small smile before gently kissing the corners of the boys lips.

Charlie smiles and blushes slightly. "I thought these two were the most appropriate for how I felt."
