She watched Atari run into Alexis, his mother, and hid.

He sighed, forcing himself to smile at Alexis. "Hey, mom." He greeted. Atari already missed Midnight.

She closed her eyes at the thought of loosing her son. She whined and shivered under the pine tree. She opned her eyes,"Atari! I thought you ran!" she whined standing and wrapping her head around his neck in a hug.

Leroy
He paused,"I'm sorry, Shalow. I must be a pain in your tail,huh?" he asked a little half-heartedly.

Atari:

Run away? Not a bad idea. he though without enthusiasm, returning the hug. He was after all, fully grown.

She pluged up the enterance with a round clod if dirt that had grass on the other side so Alexis wouldn't see her.

She licked his head,"So, I was thinking, that since your not a pup anymore, if you wanted your own den." she suggested showeing him in licks.

Atari:

"I already have one." He said confidently, pulling away from her.

She forced a smiled,"You have a den with Midnight, don't you?" she asked,trying to not show any signs of doubt or sadness.

Atari:

"Who said anything about Midnight?" He asked, rolling his eyes. "I have no interest in her whatsoever." Even though he was lying to protect her, it hurt him to say those words.

Alexis
She growled,"Don't lie-I can smell her on you." It was hard to see him with another mate. Last time he had one he left and didn't come back for a few years. She kept her balance, her ears forward and her eyes a little strict, but showed kindness.
