Featherpaw nodded eagerly. "Yes, Feralstar! I'll find you the best fresh-kill in the entire territory!" He dashed into the forest, after a while stopping do he could scent the air. He opened his jaws to make sure he didn't miss any scent of prey.

FeralStar smiled, " Please do so. I will watch you from a far. "

((ooh, dinner time... I might take a while))

Featherpaw stopped to take in the forest's scents. He stood still, one paw mid-step as he finally caught the scent of a blackbird. He lowered his body and made sure he was downwind, so it wouldn't catch his own scent. He carefully creeped toward it, very careful not to let it fly away. He placed his paws carefully on the ground, and used the surrounds bushes as best as he could. Then, he noticed a tree that seemed to have a branch directly over the blackbird. He climbed it stealthy, thanks to much practice, and slowly claws his way toward the branch that was over the bird. He wriggled his haunches and then jumped. The bird started to fly away, and he almost missed it but managed to grab it with his claws and kill it. "That was kind of a messy kill..." He murmured to himself as he looked at the dead blackbird.

FeralStar jumped down from the tree. " Good job but it would be better if you unsheathed your claws when you pounce. "

[Fiorre]

"Oh, sorry about that..." Featherpaw murmured to Feralstar as he threw some dirt over his fresh-kill. "I can hunt some more, if you'd like." He offered, although deep down inside, he almost wanted to curl up in his bed and mope about his near-failure.


((Gonna go off to bed, good night!))

[Little Blackie]

"You found a lot," Larkpaw chimed, padding over to her mentor and the Comfrey Stalks. "Where did you collect them?".

Nightstorm, She-Cat, 24 moons, Medince-cat

Nightstorm nodded in acknowledgement and started putting away the Comfrey Roots in their spot.

Featherpaw nodded and crouched onto the floor, keeping his tail high enough not to brush against the ground. He was low, but not low enough. He attempted to lower his body a bit more, managing to hold it there for a while, waiting to be dismissed. I hope this is right, he thought to himself.

"Flamepelt!" Ferretfrost ordered, padding up to him. "Border patrol." He meowed then padded to his appretince. "Patrol." He meowed.

[Little Blackie]

(Owlpaw is his apprentice, right?)
Owlpaw beamed. Finally; something to do. He looked up at his mentor. Enthusiasm rocked his paws and pluses through him.

[Fiorre]

Nightstorm, She-Cat, 24 moons, Medicine-cat

Nightstorm smiled at her apprentice. "I found a pretty nice patch of Comfrey a little after the clearing. It's dampy and grassy there, and comfrey grows really well in places like that." She explained. Then Nightstorm remembered of the organized herbs. "Thanks for sorting the herbs." She said with a smile, resting the tip of her tail on Larkpaw's shoulder as a gesture of appreciation.
