Ginger was sitting in camp. She had the day off of hunting. She groomed her sleek golden fur.

Apollo was out patrolling with a few other lions. He kept alert for the wild dogs. There was rumors of them stealing prey again.

Maru looked at Ginger. he hated the fact that Ginger probably liked Saint and not him.

Ivory noticed Muru's expression. The lioness trotted over. "Are you alright?" Her eyes softened.

Maru looked at Ivory. 'i'm fine."

Apollo patrolled the territory. He searched for any other threats that may be around. Everything had been unusually quiet lately.

Ginger just returned from hunting. She had brought down a zebra, placing it on the kill pile. She grabbed a piece of meet and gnawed on it hungrily.

Maru sighed quietly as he looked at Ginger.

Ginger met Maru's gaze. She quickly dropped her head and shifted awkwardly. Apollo had told her that Maru had feelings for her, but Ginger already wanted to be mates with Saint. She just didn't want to upset Maru.
