Once Upon a Time - Medieval (open)

☆All the royals should be in the dining hall. Prince Kaleb, Prince Tristan, Prince Remmington Princess Serena, Princess Arabella are definitely in the dining hall and seated in their correct places, at the very front. I'm guessing Princess Dimari has also joined them already. Prince Alexander is somewhere near the dining hall with Crystal...(Now just waiting on one Avalon princess.)

☆Royals who still need to make their way to the dining hall:
- Avalon: Prince Remington (Jaytage) - 'there but not there' (Already in dining hall
- Avalon: Princess Aria (MisfitNathan) - has been inactive
- Avalon: Prince Alexander (pinwheel.) - has been inactive

☆An argument occured between Princess Arabella and Prince Tristan but has since been resolved. Prince Kaleb and Princess Arabella made a deal in which Princess Arabella agreed to be polite at dinner in exchange for a promise made by Prince Kaleb that she would not get married to any old lord or duke.

☆Prince Nickolas is unconscious in a tower, having been taken there by Cassia and he's currently visiting 'hell' or perhaps a different place.

☆Cassia and Sparrow are in a tavern at the moment, discussing the side plot - rebels who want to overthrow the monarchs, etc.

☆Azure Kray and Crystal Swan (the maid) are currently talking to each other. Now joined by Prince Alexander.

☆Knight Ethan and the Eldest Princess' Maid, Lucifen, are currently riding in the woods.

☆Head Knight Tyler is currently patrolling the villages of Avalon and is free.

☆Patch (ABCDKIM) should be free and has been a bit inactive. Last seen outside Avalon castle.

☆Knight Feyhladren is free, Maria - Elyadon maid is also free(location unknown.)

☆There are also a whole load of other maids/knights and villagers who have been inactive...

(I still never got a recap guys, I need one badly!)

"Well I'm glad you're going to be happy with him Rena," she smiled warmly, trying to mask her discontent. "I could only dream of what you and Kaleb have. It's what every girl dreams of; the handsome prince falling in love with you and wanting to be with you for the rest of your life." She looked at her shoes and sighed softly, trying to make it so that Serena couldn't hear it. She's got enough to worry about without me throwing my problems at her, she thought biting her tongue. "Only in my dreams would someone love me like he loves you," she said looking back up at her and squeezing her hand again.

Serena looked at her sister with sad eyes. "Don't say that. I'm sure you will find your prince. There are probably a lot of princes who would fall in love with my beautiful sister." she replied softly to her, flashing a reassuring smile. The girl soon bit her lip as she remained silent for a moment. "And I'm sure nobody wishes to have what Kaleb and I have been through... My first engagement and all the problems that caused. Sneaking around secretly, hoping you wouldn't get caught. If I got caught yesterday with him, I would probably sit in the dungeons at this moment, since I was betraying Zerrick. "

{Okay, this will probably be the last post from me for Serena (for the time being) since I'm really getting a writersblock and bored since there isn't really happening anything and my character is forced to sit in her chair xD}

"Boys are interested, at first," she said with a bit of a laugh. "Then they get to know me better and go running for the hills. And besides, I don't think that would've happened to you and Kaleb." She looked around the room, her eyes resting on Kaleb's parents. "I suspect that they've known for a while that Zerrick was unfit to be married, but never said anything. And then when Aiden..." She paused not wanting to say that horrible word, then plunged on. "They had to rearrange the marriages, and everything worked out in everyone's favor," she said with a small smile. "Besides, what would I want with a prince anyways?" she continued reverting back to the previous topic. "I want out of this lifestyle, not further in. But we both know that's not going to happen."

The smell of the stable was comfort to the young man as he stood, leaning against a shovel. Even as a child he had often accompanied his father as he went to shoe the horses and the smell of them always reminded him of being a young child, and being happy. While he still put on a rather chipper demeanor, Cailean was not often as happy as he usually seemed. Either way, today was turning into a beautiful day for him. The sun was having trouble deciding whether to shine or hide behind the clouds, but even the whisps of white couldn't deter the beautiful scenery around him. It was still early morning and the sun's rays cast gently into the open door at the far end of the stable, hitting the concrete. Most, if not all the horses were awake, and Cai was just about to begin his chores. Leaning the shovel against the wall, he began to methodically take the horses and bring them outside into the fields. Once that was done the shovel was key.

After a good hour of mucking out stalls, Cailean replaced the shovel to its previous spot. With the back of his shirt he wiped his brow, stretching out his broad shoulders. The work was hard at times, but satisfying, and most of the hardest tasks were now done. He planned to spend the rest of the day organizing and cleaning, something which the stable definitely needed. But until then, he decided a break was necessary, and he stepped out into the morning sun. His blue eyes squinted in the light of the sun, but soon became adjusted to the luminosity of it. He moved towards a trough and began to wash his hands clean from any mud or dirt. After he was sure his hands were at least mostly clean, he sat down on the grass, leaning against the fence. He heard a soft nicker from behind him, his horse trotting towards him, his ears perked and alert. With a smile, Cai pulled an apple from his pouch, breaking it into two halves and offered one to the horse. Cai ate the rest of the apple, pulling out a hard loaf of bread as well and chewing it slowly, content to enjoy the warm sun.

Tʏʟᴇʀ Bʟᴀᴄᴋ ♘ Hᴇᴀᴅ Kɴɪɢʜᴛ ᴏғ Aᴠᴀʟᴏɴ

The head knight of Avalon sighed relieved as he finished patrolling the village. Luckily there hadn't any problems occured. Or well, there wasn't anything reported to him. Tyler arrived back at the Avalon stables and got of Ren, patting his back before he led his black horse into the stables. It wondered if there was anything else he had to do, but knew he wouldn't get orders the next few hours since the royals were having a meeting and dinner together with the Elyadon royals. What had happened to Aiden was a real tragedy. Therefore Tyler was prepared for any kind of danger. He served the Avalon royals, and had promised to protect them with his life. He would protect all the royals with his life, honestly.

The knight led Ren back into his stable and took his brush from the shelf. The guy put the saddle away after he got it off Ren and stroked the warm back of his best friend. He smiled as the horse nuzzled him. Tyler started to brush Ren. He would never let anyone touch Ren. He was his horse, so he would take care of him, and nobody else should.

Victoria Lacy| Head Maid of Elyadon| 16 years of age| At the stables of Avalon

Upon her journey back to Elyadon, admiring each of the building's structures, she passed the stables which she had to take a long glance of. As worried as she was of the other maids of Elyadon, she was just as curious in examining the stables. Avalon was an interesting place for her; it had been some time since she had last visited. Surely when she got back she would get scolded or removed from her duties as time had elapsed without her doing much. She often pondered about meeting more people here, though most of the time she tried to stay away. Oh, how confusing she could get with things. She knitted her fists onto the sides of her dress and headed closer to the stables, and noticed a young man leaning against the fence, seemingly to be enjoying his job, as well as the sun shining. She placed a hand above her eyes to see him since the sun was glaring into her eyes. He had wonderful blue eyes that, to her, seemed like they were calm like the blue sky that rose up before them, and shone a curious blue. She was trying to decide whether or not to approach him because she did not want to ruin the peacefulness of his structure. Then again, she wasn't much of the kind of person to just stand around and be quiet. She sighed, and have a glance at the sky where the clouds were making shapes that amused her, when she sun popped out once again, causing her to shield herself away from it. Once covered by the clouds, she walked over to him and gave a small curtsy. "Good morning, sir," she said, curiously admiring him.

Olyvar stood behind him, leaning down to brush Cai's shoulder with his nose. He turned and looked towards the horse and chuckled. "No Oly, no more apples, sorry." The horse nudged him again, but Cai just pat his nose, taking another mouthful of bread. He could hear noises from the stable and peered in, seeing the head knight working with his horse. He was about to rise and offer to help when something caught him from the corner of his eye. He looked up, seeing a young woman standing near him. He didn't recognize her, but quickly he was pushing himself to his feet, stuffing the leftover bread back into the pouch. There was no way he would let himself be called rude for not standing to address a lady. Olyvar snorted and then trotted back off into the field to scrounge for more food as Cailean began to brush off his breeches.

The sun had seemed to disappear and she was closer to him now, curtsying as she approached. A small smile flitted over his lips, but he said nothing merely returning the gesture with an awkward bow. It was clear from her appearance she had some standing in the royal houses, perhaps not as a noble herself, but definitely not a common villager. He casually looked down at his shirt, dirt staining most of it, sweat around the collar. Always making a good first impression. She spoke while he was thinking and his eyes focused, warm as they regarded her.

"Oh, uh, no need to call me sir, miss, I'm not even a squire." While he aspired to one day be knighted, his lineage wouldn't support such a thing. He smiled though and wiped his hands on his pants. "It is a good morning though, but it appears the sun has decided to be shy." He glanced up at the sky, the sun just barely peeking out from the cloud it had hidden itself behind.

"Are you new around here? I don't believe we've met. I'm Cailean McCormick, stable hand at your service. Do you need anything miss?"
