Ｄａｒｋｃｌａｎ {Ｓｅｍｉ-Ｌｉｔ} Ａｃｃｅｐｔｉｎｇ

Blackhaze leaped backwards, a little closer to the cliff. He snarled and lunged, his teeth bared at Hawk's throat. He wanted to end this fight quickly.

[squirelife]

Hawk back up, his feet at the cliffs edge. Hawk jumped at Blackhaze the same time Blackhaze jumped at him. His claws extended forward, aiming a leathal blow in blackhazes neck...
suddenly Hawk was gone. A blurr of white fur flew in front of Blackhaze before it disappeared along with Hawk.

Silverstorm sprinted as fast as could. The scent of her mate free stronger.

[EO+RS]

Blackhaze froze. "Sk-skypaw?" he gasped. No... I have to go down there... I have to save her... It's my fault if she's dead... He frantically raced along the edge of the cliff, searching for a way down.

[squirelife]

Skypaw closed ber eyes and for a moment she forgot where she was. Everything seemed to slow down for a moment. Then without warning skypaw woke up to the icey cold water that slammed against her side. She struggled as she moved her paws rapidly to get to the surface. Though the twisting and turning current would allow her to get above.

[EO+RS]

Blackhaze ran downstream until he found a place he could get down. His half-ran, half-fell down the side of the cliff, watching Skypaw being swept downstream after him. He leaped down the last fox-length, diving into the icy water. He swam as well as he could, trying desperately to reach Skypaw. My fault... she's innocent...

Gingerfrost ignored looking for a way down. She leapt off after Skypaw.

Blackhaze felt his jaws close on fur and skin and saw a flash of white fur. He pulled hard towards the bank, his chest heaving as he fought his way to the cliff.

[squirelife]

Skypaw kept wriggling but soon found herself giving up. She just killed her brother. Skypaw stopped moving her paws as what she did settled in her brain. She didn't deserve to survive after doing something like that. Skypaw felt something touch her neck but she didn't pay atttention as everyhtung went black.

Silverstorm came just to see blackhaze jump.after someone in the water. Her heart skipped a beat as she watched frantically. She quickly went beside Gingerfrost and helped pull blackhaze out.

Gingerfrost got carried. She pushed Skypaw to Blackhaze before being brought down stream to where the waterfall was.

Bllackhaze reached the cliff, even farther downstream of where he had started. He reached out of the water, using his claws to try to catch hold of the craggy cliff face and climb out. His muscles strained and he slipped more then once, but he refused give up, finding a narrow path he could get up on. He pulled on Skypaw to help bring her up once he had firm footing. He set her down on the path ahead of her. "Over here!" he yowled desperately. No! This wasn't supposed to happen! he thought.
