I s'pose that's a thought. Frankly I lean towards God having a gender and I can't imagine Him as female xD

Yeah, He is a diety, not a human. Jesus was human and thus, was a man. God is different. He did say that He created us in his image, and creating men first, He is often referred to as male. Also women were not thought of as leaders or rulers, so for people gave Him a masculine identity. These are my random thoughts on this.
