Thorntail nodded in agreement at the names and nuzzled her neck lovingly before looking at Ashkit and smiling.

"I know they can't play, but its exciting to see the Clan grow stronger with cute kits! Could I see them, if it's okay?" She stood up and took a small peek at the mewling kit.

"I just never wanted any!" Spottedkit growled.

Rootclaw brushed his fluffy tail over the back of her pelt, quickly glancing at her before returning his gaze to the slowly churning river. "Thorntail and Russetleap love each other so much," He mewed softly, "Having kits, is just something that you can't help."

Russetleap nodded, smiling at the fact that Ashkit, no longer acted like a kit. She was now the age of an apprentice, and maturing like one, too. Slowly she pulled her tail out further so that she was able to see them. Unable to keep to herself, Russetleap looked up at the large kit. "Both your brother and yourself have reached your sixth moon," She mewed gently, though with meaning, "You should go see Darkstar about becoming an apprentice," Her eyes than began to glow with amusement, "Just in case he has forgotten about you."
