Oh, I'm sorry...
He was probably a big part of your life, and it was so recent, that it's one of the only things you can think about right now. You might forget him later and you might not, but either way I am praying for you. (:

Also I would like to tell you that there's this guy at my youth group... He is the type of guy who's smile is often and his eyes are soft and I told him that I liked him via a sticky note and I catch him smiling at me and then looking away sometimes. Actually quite often. I am hoping that he will tell me that he likes me back and then I could tell my parents and they MIGHT let me go on a date... Maybe.

Your grace abounds in deepest waters
Your sovereign hand
Will be my guide
Where feet may fail and fear surrounds me
You've never failed and You won't start now

So I will call upon Your name
And keep my eyes above the waves
When oceans rise
My soul will rest in Your embrace
For I am Yours and You are mine

I myself assume he is male, as Jesus was a male and God is constantly reffered to as "He" or "Him".
    It's good to be back.

I'm pretty sure that somewhere it says that God doesn't have a gender. However, he generally takes on a more masculine identity, and we do say Him and not Her. Plus Jesus was also a man.

I think people just don't want to call God an it. xD

I was always taught that god had no sex or gender. The English language doesn't have any (commonly-known) gender-neutral pronouns, though, so people kind of have to choose whether to refer to god as male or female. Most people just choose male pronouns and titles.

I s'pose that's a thought. Frankly I lean towards God having a gender and I can't imagine Him as female xD
