Adonis did his best to look appropriate and polite as he gently plucked up his fork and took a small bite of his salad, smiling as he realized it was better than he had expected it to be. Grinning, he unfolded his napkin and sat it upon his lap to keep the food from staining his good tux, and teased, "How did I ever find a beautiful girl like you in the first place, my darling Medve?" He had decided to try to forget about the odd little crystal box, figuring that he knew who had sent it.

"Well, you found me walking down the streets with Skippy," she said with a smile and raise of her brows. She laughed softly, "If you would have been a minute later, you wouldn't have met Skippy or me," she added, remembering the day, and when she slapped Skippy in the face. She smiled as she ate some of the salad.

"Well I knew that." Adonis said with a soft, rumbling laugh as he nibbled delicately at his salad. Even though he was truly hungry, he didn't want to forget his manners, especially not with such a lovely date. "I was just wondering whatever I had done so well to get so lucky as to get to call you my own." As he finished his salad, he gently pushed the small bowl aside, and a moment later, the waiter walked by and picked it up in one smooth, practiced movement. Adonis watched him with some amount of amusement, wondering how you got to be so good at such a simple little thing.

Medve shrugged, "Maybe because you are nice, funny, understanding, handsome? Everything a girl wants in a guy," she said as she looked up at the waiter as he took the bowl from Adonis, as she looked back to him. She smiled gently as him as she then smoothed out her dress again, taking another bite of her salad.

Adonis laughed at that, a loud, booming laugh that momentarily attracted the attention of some of the other diners. But they swiftly returned their attention to their companions and meals, and Adonis just grinned at Medve, lightly shaking his head. "I have rage issues, I'm overly protective, I come with a shy older sister, I'm as disorganized as anyone, and get easily attached," He replied smoothly, "Last time I knew, girls didn't exactly want a guy like that!"

Medve looked around as the people looked over at them, and couldn't help but giggle as they looked away. "Well, same with me. I was emotionless girl, a tomboy, had a goofy brother that was crazy - what am I saying? - still crazy as always, and didn't talk much, and sometimes was rude," she said with a shrug.

Adonis was struggling hard not to laugh, but was wearing a wide grin that stretched practically from each side of his face to the other. "That's why we're such the perfect couple, then," He teased, beginning to cut up his steak with a sharp knife, careful not to slip with it. "Besides, you know Skippy's practically my brother by now. You can't list him as one of your faults." He added with a soft chuckle.

Medve smiled, "Yeah, we are," she said, then laughed. "Skippy is easy to get along with if you don't mess with his family or friends," she added with a shrug as she finished her salad, taking a sip of her drink. She looked around to only see a few people left in there, and blinked as she looked back over at Adonis.

Suddenly a male approached carrying a basket of flowers around his neck, Adonis gestured him over and slyly handed him some money, selecting a beautiful little bouquet of flowers. Then he handed them to her, grinning. The classical music in the background was a nice little romantic touch as he gazed into her beautifully warm brown eyes and imagined staying there forever.

Medve looked at the flowers, then grabbed them gently. "Thank you," she said with a smile, looking into his blue eyes. She blinked for a moment, then put the flowers gently on the table. She looked down at them for a moment, then back up at Adonis with a slight smile.
