Heart glared at Mind, "I don't want anyone else!" She had to resist making mind feel angry, so she ran off to her den, where the hearts on the walls had all turned black and broke, and it was as cold as ice.

Blaze looked at Heart as she ran into her den, he had always loved her as a sister and now he felt like he should protect her. He walked from his den to hers and sat next to her as she cried. He rested his tail on her back and licked her ear to comfort her.
