Ink opened one eye to look at Yara and weakly smiled back at him. He shivered and took a deep breath in, then let it out slowly and let his body relax...Ink, who had demonstrated his bravery and determination until the end, was dead...

"joanie?" storm called softly,poking his greying snout out of the den "Hello?" he barked.

full grown,he was taller than his dad and his mom "Yea,then we got caught by hunters,not fun." he barked,licking a bulet wound absent midedly.."Anyway,what did you and sasha do??"he asked

Yara whined, nudging Ink's lifeless body with his nose. He threw back his head, letting out a long sorrowfilled howl for his lost friend. "Ink, you can't do this to me again... I can't take it another time." He looked across the cliff, several thoughts rolling through his mind, should he? But what about Chako and the others? Confusion was clear by his facial expressions, he wasn't sure what to do...

Joanie sighed quietly. "The Leader's pack was attacking just now, but they were only going for Shadow Pack...So I didn't do anything...There was too many for us to beat, we're such a small group...Where's Lightning?"

Hakuri's pups looked around frantically, petrified of the big wolves. Where was their mother? They didn't know she just commited suicice...

Codak turned and went over to the pups. He nuzzled them.

The five pups whined and ran off in to the forest, scared of Codak. They spotted Yara and scrambled underneath the dip under a log that Athena's pups had hidden under and watched him...
