We do understand how much effort the staff is putting into this, but not all of us agree with the change. Some people, like me, were very attached to the old lines and it's a tough CS change. I have been on CS since April of 09' and I was very used to them, so seeing them go is a little tough. I hope some of you will be a little more understanding. It's not that we don't know/care how much work the staff is putting in, we just don't agree with the change and it will take us a bit to get used to it. So please, cut us who don't agree a bit of slack. c: The staff seems to be doing the best they can, keeping the same designs and all. Give them some slack too. They have a ton of horses to redesign.

I have no problem with people that don't agree with the change, I actually respect those who are able to express it in a reasonable way. I'm just really tired of the barrage of down right abusive comments, you can disagree with something without needing to be a jerk about it, you know? XD

My point about having the graphics taken down is more along the lines of : I wonder if people would still be negative about the change if it was the only way they could have their pets back? It's not that i feel like nay sayers don't deserve their pets or their opinion I just wonder how people would have reacted i we had been hit with a drastic act like that out of necisity

I do agree with this. I am not saying I don't appreciate it but I preferred the old lines. They had more character in my eyes.

I agree with both of these statements. Yeah, the new changes look good and all, but I still prefer the old lines.

is anybody else experencing random gliches to there horses or in the archive?
Sorry ill try and find another, this ones not that good but i didnt screen shot when i should have.

These were found in the archive, and ive found some where the horse is just a random outline with no color, or glichy and boxyish halfway down.

Just a question for the mods; I have every single pet made saved to my computer including the old lineart horses (It's not creepy if I make CS graphics as a hobby, I swear!) Would I be allowed to make a thread for transparent versions of the old lineart so those who missed them can have them?

I think this was actually being talked about before but nothing solid came through..? It would be cool for the members who were attached to those old linearts to have some place to view them. I remember bringing it up though if it could be a place which is "private only" for the eyes of CS members who want to see them and not on a "public" venue, since we're trying to keep the traced lines off the site...I remember someone suggested keeping them on Google docs or something, and then just to have the cs public know which link to click...

With the image you screenshotted, I believe that's how it's supposed to be. You see how the lightning pony has the lightning behind it, then the lightning becomes it's design? That's basically what the other pony is -- it later became a "sunny day with some clouds" type pony, and the image behind it and the newborn stage is a hint of its final appearance in the background.

As for the outlines and glitchyness...that's probably an actual glitch, since I don't think I've ever seen that on my computer before.

I won't argue because I am a peaceful person, I just do not like the changes. I liked the old unicorns, the ones that represented the European unicorns with the goat beard and the lion tail. I don't like the new changes and don't think I ever will. It's not Yulynn, it's the designs. I think the old horses had more character and the old unicorns were nicer. I always will. I'm sorry that not everyone agrees with me but you won't change my mind at all.

They're not out to change your mind; you get to do that yourself. What would be good is that you stop being so overly negative and over-dramatic. No, not everyone will like what is happening, yet you can voice your opinion without making a lot of others get to the defensive. CS is not about real animals; these creations are pixels and are cartoons. The old lines were bad; these are a much better improvement and the artists are doing their best.

Since when was a overly-dramatic? I was voicing my opinion, that is all. Others got to the defensive because of my opinion, I'm sorry I'm not allowed one anymore. And no, the old lines were not bad. They were great and much preferred by me. These new ones just remind me of MLP and other horse cartoons like Horseland for example. I had actually drawn up my own lineart that I was going to submit and ask if they'd mind swapping the old Equimagine lines for them instead of changing them all to Yulynh's lines. Simply because they suit the Equimagine designs better but since I'm being "Overly-Negative and over dramatic" why bother? They'll not be changed either way. I don't want to because I love all the pets I have on here, bar the horses now, but I was seriously considering leaving CS for good last night. I'm not going to because I do like the site, I'm just not a fan of the horses. My main "anger" is from the fact that A. the vote was up for what? 5 Days? A time when I couldn't vote because I had no internet so not exactly my fault. B. They gave her a second chance and took 3 years to actually go "Oh, we don't trust you anymore". If the site was in danger, why bother. Why not say there and then "We don't trust you, we're hiring a new horse artist" when they found out about the first lines being traced? Hmm? What was the point in giving her a second chance to find more problems and suddenly change them all to Yulynh's lines? C. The designs are being changed. They said "The designs will stay exactly the same" yet they haven't. They've changed and they look wrong on Yulynh's lines to me. They don't look right any more, hence why I'm trading all my horses away. Any without rarities will be held onto till they have rarities. So I'd like to know where I was being overly negative or over dramatic as I don't see it. Oh and this is not a rant, this is not being aggressive or overly negative in any way. This is yet again, another opinion.

Equimagine stole art point blank. The change was done. No one could say otherwise, yet a vote had to be done to see which way it was going to go about. Again, you're coming to the defensive that your say is more powerful than anyone else's. The artists could have asked someone else to redo the line-art, yet with the magnificent work that Yul did, they asked her and I'm glad they did. You're not the only one who wasn't able to vote, yet you've been the most boisterous about things that none of us could control. Are opinions taken? Yes. Will people listen when they're always so negative as yours? No and it gets people so defensive towards the one who has spoken that it's unbelievable. Try taking a step back and just watch to see what goes on. I loved the old lines; I adore the new lines as it's like they're doing a clean sweep and replacing what was tainted with something more "golden". Kudos to Yul and the others for taking on this huge job that needs to be done.
