"She's out! She's escaped again! After her, don't let her jump the fence!" Human voices could be heard shouting orders as others jumped out if the way of the feisty paint mare as she bolted. She had a smirk on her white muzzle as she jumped clear over a human that meant to block her way of escape, leaving the man stunned and in awe of the creature. Left turn here, past the stables, right turn....the outside fence!"Heh. Too easy." I say as I clear the fence that was meant to keep me here. I stop and look back over my shoulder as I shake off the loose rope halter. I let out a defying whinny as I rear, pawing the air and then I'm off, into the wilderness...my home.

"man, this place has changed since I was a foal." i say to myself as I wander about, looking for a place to graze. I find a thick patch of grass and contentedly munch away.

"I wonder if there are any other equids here?"

I strolled though the green valley's dips and slopes through the mountains. It had been a few day's since i had been up in these mountains, I had been at the beach and ground forest for the last few days. I could tell i was near other equids. it made me wary and i jumped at every sound every foot step, ever.... "any other equids here?" I spun around. thinking a human was near by. though the words came loud and clear. I lowered my head my my ears folded back onto my neck. I took a few steps backwards and nearly scared my self to death when i ran into the tree behind me. " Who... who's there? " I mumbled quietly, and waited.

I perk my ears as I hear the bushes rustle to my left. I, being the inquisitive mare that I was, silently took a few paces forward, my white plume flicking the flies that were deciding to bite my light brown and white flank. "Anyone there? Hellooo...." I neigh as I look at the shadows of the forest. For a second, I thought I caught the scent of another...but was that just my imagination?

I saw a flash of white as i stumbled back onto my hind quarters. Now sitting down i gathered my self together. I wasn't a timed equid, just startled... Just startled. I repeated to my self as if to ensure the safety of the thought in my mind. The forest shadows where all around but in the dark i caught a glimpse of another equid as it looked around. By now i had forgotten that i was even sitting. so it was a big surprise when i tried to take a step forward and ended up falling face flat on the ground "Oof!" I exclaimed as dirt and leaves flew every where.

"What the?!"I say as I take a step back as a Equid falls at my feet. I kneel down to where I'm at eye level and look them in the eye. "Hey, no need to bow. What's up?" I say with a cheeky grin on my muzzle.

I look up and frowned. I pulled myself up, "I wasn't bowing." I said indignantly "I uh... I just uh... heh" I smirked relized that 'I forgot i was sitting would sound really weird. I looked the equid up and down. "You don't look very wild." I frowned curiously. "Where did you come from?" I asked. I took a few paces back, relizing we where just about snout to snout. I almost slipped again on the dew covered leaves, but caught myself just in time.

"yeah, we'll...I was born in the wild but those idiot humans captured me when I was still a foal. But I finally escaped." I say as I try to keep a laugh from escaping my lips. I take a step back and flick an ear at a passing bug, my honey colored eyes fixed upon the newcomer.

"Wait..." I paused. "You're owned?" I say as i took a step back. As the other equid flicked her ear a small bug landed on my lip. "Pffthh!" I say as i shake my head rapidly and lick my lips lick a dog with peanut butter in his mouth. The sun was getting brighter and i could see the other a bit better.

"Not anymore. Plus, they kept trying to break me and I was always just too wild for them." I say as a brightly colored bird caught my attention. "My names Nizhoni. What's yours?"

I frowned and pursed my lips. Thinking to myself ' can i trust them?' I paced with my head. And swung my head back and forth and looked into her eyes. Smiling and curriouse where the two expresions bore by the face of Nizhoni. "I'm uh.." i was cut short by the cry of "There she is! Catch her! And another one! go go go!!" My ears perked up and my head went back... "R... Run!!!!"
