Average amount of time it takes you to finish a book:
A week of so, but I have been known to read full-length books in a matter of hours (eg. Warrior cats: Twilight, Warrior cats: Starlight, Picture Perfect)

How many of the above symptoms you regularly experience:
You bring a book to lunch most days. yup (:

You get so caught up in whatever book you happen to be reading that you a) laugh, b) cry, c) scream at the book, and/or d) throw the book at the wall because you hate how it ended. People die, cats die, Squirrelflight ect. ect.

You read so late into the night that you lose track of time, and end up staying up till like three AM. It's so intense then a character you love dies so you just want to throw the book away and cry yourself to sleep

You've read a book cover to cover in one sitting.
I've already said about this

You've fallen in love with a fictional character. Hawkfrost, Brambleclaw, Jayfeather ect. ect.

Has anybody else read The Scarlet Letter? If so, do you think that something's just...off about Pearl? I can't put my finger on it, but I get the feeling that there's something not...normal (and not in a good way) about the kid.

I'm so mad, neither my school library nor my public library have a copy of The Great Gatsby. I suppose I'll be forced to buy it :/

Does your library let you put books on hold? Mine does, and since it's a relatively small library, that's how I got a copy of Planet of the Apes, the Warriors books, and a ton of others.

Has anyone else ever read the short story, Bartleby the Scrivener by Herman Melville, and, if so, do you have any idea what's going on in it?!

Nope. Our library is really small, but that is not an excuse to not have it!
