Where They Stood ~ Cats of the Clans

Larger than usual, the full moon hung high over the clearing, so close that most cats swore that they could touch it. Although no cloud was in sight, the wind blew consistently, sending a chill to pierce each surrounding coat. A large Oak tree soared up into the sky, its tangled branches reaching out to the moon above. Two cats sat perched on a lowly branch, gazing out around the clearing at the beings that surrounded them. They brought news of their rival Clans, and how they fled their territories for reasons unknown to them. It was decided that one Clan would receive the territory of their previously neighbouring Clan, whilst the other would claim the rest. The occasional disapproving mutter echoed through the quiet clearing, some believing that they should follow the other two Clans. But this was how it was to stay, Finch Clan gaining the moor land, and Swallow Clan a rocky fortress.
After many, many seasons, the Clans have almost forgotten of their old rivals, now having adapted to the terrains of the past clans as if their ancestors walked the very same paw steps.
Finch Clan and Swallow Clan share what remains without much interference from two-legs or dogs.
The only problem they have now, is with each other.

O n e :: As you are always expected to do, follow all of Nick and Tess's rules. If you are unaware of what these rules are, there is a thread at the top of the 'Animal Role Plays (Fantasy and Fandom-based)' Forum that states them all.

T w o :: There is to be absolutely no cussing, in or out of the role play. Though, such things such as 'Mouse brain', 'Foxdung' and so forth are allowed.

T h r e e :: Pretty post people! It is always nice to read something visually appealing. Whether it be just the name of the Clan that your cat is in, in large, colourful text above your post is fine! Though, no neon colours, or others that cannot be read. Make sure not to add a picture of your cat, or use text from 'font meme' though, as this is considered spam.

F o u r :: There are no limits to characters, but you must be able to RP each. Don't just make them for the sake of making them and then not use them latter on down the track. With this being said, if there is a high ranked position open, only one of your characters is able to be of a high rank. If you do have a character of a high rank, you must remain active. If this
is not the case, I will PM you after a weeks’ time, and if you still do not return, I will reopen that position.

F i v e :: Don't join unless you are willing to be committed to the RP. If you have not posted within two weeks without PMing me with a reason explaining why you can't, I will delete your characters. If I am in a good mood, I will PM to let you know, though, don't expect it. If you forget about this Role Play, your characters are deleted, and then latter on you decide that you wish to rejoin, this is fine, but you are to PM me so that we can work out an arrangement.

S i x :: You are able to give your characters whatever personality you desire, whether it be mean, insane, flirtatious, it does not matter; as long as you do not act this way out of the role play. (...except for flirtatious...I really don't care about that one... xD)

S e v e n :: You are to use realistic pictures, no anime, or drawn. I'm sorry, but the cats are to remain looking as if they are ones of the forest. This also means, no unusual coloured eyes, or pelts; and definitely no powers.

E i g h t :: Use correct grammar, spelling and punctuation. I understand the occasional misspelled word, but it is not accepted if it is an often occurrence. You are to write at least two-three sentences per post (for each character). If this is not the case, I will warn you, and then if it does not improve, I will kick you out. Sorry.

N i n e :: You cannot join being the deputy of Medicine Cat Apprentice. This is for the Medicine Cat and leader to decide on. Though, if you would like to be the deputy, you should show that your cat is worth the position, this is the same for the Medicine Cat apprentice. If you wish for that to be their position, I suggest that you begin with them being elder kits, and become friends with the medicine cat. I will not accept injuries as an excuse.

Personality::
Ivysong is a very kind, caring, gentle cat, that cares for all creatures no matter their breed or origins. Ivysong has always had a soft heart, never really wishing to fight, but instead believes in talking things through. It is extremely hard to anger a cat such as her, since she had spent most of her years, training herself not to let her emotions get the better of her. Although, once she is angered, Ivysong turns into a completely different cat. Some swear that her pupils dilate, making her eyes look as black and hollow as a starless night. In this state, she is ruthless, and there is nothing that she won’t do.

Ivysong is a beautiful tortoiseshell She-cat with a thin frame, and long limbs. Ivysong's pelt is a pretty mixture of white, black, and numerous shades of oranges. She has splendid ivy green eyes that light up her delicate features no matter the time of day.

Personality/History::
When Feathernose was only a 'paw, her sister (Hazlestare) was killed in a vicious, blood thirsty battle. Not long after the loss of her sister, her father left the Clan in order to become a rogue, claiming that the confides of the Clan boundaries was a lifestyle that he no longer suited. Once her mother had lost both one of her kits, and her beloved mate, she forgot about her only remaining kin, and left. Feathernose knew that she'd remember that could night for the rest of her life. She breeze ruffled her tabby coat, chilling her to the bone. She had watched from a crack in the apprentices' den as her mother wondered out of the camp entrance. Trying to ignore the uneasy feeling that grew steadily, she had convinced herself that she just went out to the dirt place. It wasn't until the next morning, when she hadn't returned, had Feathernose known that her gut feeling had been correct.
Patrols hadn't been able to follow her mother's scent trail since with the wind brought rain, washing away the trail. No one knew whether she went to join her father in solitude, or she had decided to take her life.
From those cruel moons and onward, Feathernose kept to herself, mourning the loss of her family silently, for the rest of her life.

Feathernose is a pretty tabby cat, her pelt a mixture of a number of shades of brown. Her toes are a soft snow white, and around her muzzle. The purity and softness of the white around her muzzle is what gave her her name.

She hadn't been the only cat that the Clan lost from that batch of green cough, though she was the only loss that the kits cared about. They had never met their father, since he had been hit by a two-leg monster before they had been born. Once their mother passed away, although another queen adopted them, Iorakit took on the role of mother since she felt that it was her responsibility to care for her brothers. Iorakit has grown up independently, practically raising herself, whilst her brothers are still dependent on her.
