I... L O V E Y O U? (1x1 Adonis x Medve. Adve)

Adonis pulled away as he realized that she was still breathing, shocked. His blue eyes shimmered with relief as he let out a hefty sigh, settling back onto the concrete. Now that the shock was over, he was exhausted and slightly confused about what had happened. He had thought that Medve was almost as good a swimmer as he was -- heck, Lucy never went in the water, and even she knew enough to doggy paddle and keep herself afloat, or warn him if she needed help so he could get there with plenty of time to spare.

People began to walk away as Medve opened her eyes with a sigh as she looked over at the door to see... Audrey. "Well, well, well," Audrey said with a snicker as she walked up to them, bikini on. It looked like she was going swimming. "Medve," she said, "The little attention seeker. Faking to drown." Medve growled, "It was a joke! I thought Adonis would get it since Skippy and I did!" She shouted. Audrey smirked, rolling her eyes. Medve began to get mad, walking up to Audrey, grabbing her throat and lifting her into the air, choking Audrey, tightening her grip. "I'm tired of you. Get lost," Medve growled.

"Woahwoahwoah!" Adonis ran over as he saw Medve easily lift up the other dragon off of her paws. As much as he would have liked to strangle Aubrey as well, he could already see the crowd reassembling and knew it wasn't good for her to do this in public. She could get in big trouble! "Medve, careful," He whispered in her ear, trying to use his powers to lower her arms a bit so Aubrey's paws brushed the ground, "We don't want you to get in trouble for hurting her. She's not worth it!" His blue eyes begged her to stop, looking almost heartbroken. "You've scared her enough," He added, "I'm sure she won't come back anytime soon!" As much as he loved Medve, and had dreamed of having children with her quite often (more than he liked to admit) it was hard to imagine her being a mother when she was this violent.

Medve looked straight into Audrey's eyes, seeing her fear and her face turning a different color. Medve let go of her, looking at the other people watching. Medve growled, putting out her paw as she pushed them all over, and then to the other side. She turned to Adonis, her eyes not the warm light brown, but a darker brown. That's what they did when she was really mad. Then they turned soft again, her growl turning to the expressionless face that meant she was okay, as she just dropped the ground, making a plop sound, looking straight in front of her.

After that episode, Adonis really wasn't sure of what to do, but he knew it wasn't good to leave her there. Not in front of all of those curious, prying eyes, not next to Aubrey, who although frightened, could still infuriate her like no other. So he gingerly plucked her into his arms again, cradling her like a beloved child as he headed toward the little room where the lockers were so that she could calm down. When he'd gotten in there, he plunked himself down on one of the wooden benches and gently set her next to him, looking at her with concern. "Are you okay?" He asked softly, keeping his tones as gentle and light as possible so he wouldn't startle her or make her angry again.

Medve stared off as he sat her down, staring at the wall. She glanced over at Adonis, sighing softly. "Well, first of all, arw you okay?" She asked, now looking over at him as she sat up. She didn't know what made her snap out there - maybe just Audrey's presence, or maybe how Audrey was talking to her, or maybe both. Medve blinked, sighing again.

Adonis took a moment to consider his answer before softly replying, "A little surprised, but yeah, I'm fine. Worried about you, though." He was mumbling a little, which was never a good sign. He knew that Medve didn't like Aubrey and all, and yes, maybe the other girl was rude and obnoxious and probably deserved a good punch to the face, but he hated the fact that she could get his girlfriend so worked up. Why couldn't Medve just shrug off her insults? Aubrey was nothing. Even less than nothing. If it were a comparison, Aubrey would be a little ladybug and Medve would be a sleek tiger.

"I'm fine," she replied softly as she looked over at Adonis with a small sigh as she stood up. "I'm ready to go," she said, "Unless you want to stay, I'll just go," she said as she went over to the locker room, grabbing her stuff. She sighed again, looking back at Adonis as she went into the ladies restroom.

Adonis watched her go, then carefully opened the locker once more to withdraw his own belongings. When he opened his bag to retrieve his t-shirt, he noticed something new that had definitely not been there before. It was the strangest little box, small enough to fit into his paws, crystalline with a blank tint to the stone. It had to be one of those "Love Boxes" he had heard of before, although he had no clue how it had gotten into his bag -- and although it was translucent, he couldn't see through to the inside, and curiously flicked it open. Inside was a small note written on a tiny piece of paper, as well as a locket made of oddly brown metal. He lifted up the necklace curiously, gazing at it for a moment, then put it back into the box and began to read the note, setting the box beside him on the bench.

{Wanted some drama and realized someone had sent him a Love Box. XD}

Medve quickly changed, ringing out her bathing suit as she put it back into her bag, putting on her sweater, which covered up her 'My Chemical Romance,' shirt. She looked around for a moment, as she came out, seeing that Audrey was already gone, and Medve silently wished that she'd never see her face ever again. She looked over at Adonis, "Ready?" she asked softly.
