Equine Transformation - Going ahead - please read for info!

What?! I'd only be doing it to show what I think they'd look better as... Forget it then. I give up. It seems there's no way of me putting my ideas across without getting a warning for it so I give up. I'm not happy with the change, I don't know how much more I can stress that, and never will be but since I can't show my idea of them being nice I give up. I'm seriously considering just trading away all my horses because of this. Yes I liked the designs but I liked the lineart too and now they don't look right to me So watch my profile. I'll put something on it or in my trades if I decide to trade all my horses away to people who like them.

the tracing issue that you mentioned was ONLY fixed after this change.
eqqui traced the second horse lines in your signature picture, and lied.
it was not solved. it is now solved.

Like I said, I give up. I've had 2 pm's off people telling me the same thing about it basically being the first linearts just edited slightly but I don't care really. I think tracing and stealing images is wrong yes and agree Equi should have completely drawn them by hand with maybe a references but not copied them but if tracing was an issue, why give her a second chance? Why not get her off there and then when they found out?

I LOVE THE NEW UNICORN LINES! I do have to admit I didn't want the changes to come. I liked the new draft but that was it. These unicron lines are the coolest thing ever!!!!!!!

Aren't they awesome??? For those who really don't know what a unicorn looks like, the "cartoonish" look is fine. I love how the artist remade their bodies; looks very good and I'm satisfied.

The designs on these new ones seem drastically changed. But I cant look at the older lineart to check for obvious reasons.

I think part of it is because of the angle change. It went from a behind rear to a frontal rear so I guess the designs would seem different cause you are looking at them from two different sides lol I could be wrong cause I don't remember what they originally looked like very well, but by my memory they are close, just different angles

Not all the Unicorns have changed yet, these are just one litter who did have the same pose. There is I think two more Unicorn litters to come out. The others are most likely to have a different pose, but the winged one, they said it will have a different pose definatley

First of all, since we didn't know if the Uni lines were going to be changed till they had been how was she to know to save the lines since I'm pretty sure CS would have something to say about it. Also, they are trying to keep the designs the same and try and keep them as diverse as they can yet suddenly all of those uni's(bar the pegauni atm) are in the same pose, the colours have been changed and the manes and tails... Well don't get me started... Anyway, I give up. All my horses/ponies/donkeys are up for trade in a group named ">>>Horses for trade due to equi change". I never truly liked the Uni's but I still preferred the old lines.

It was very clear from the start that the unicorns would be changed to their own unique lineart. The designs and colours look pretty bang on to me.

Yes, it was very clearly announced that all of Equimagines lines would be changed. Also the future hope, to my knowledge, is to have items be compatible with all equines so having only one pose for the unicorns will make it so that we can actually have items that fit our unicorns instead of just kinda hoping that itll work out XD

Sometimes a tiny bitter part of me wishes that they just took down all the horses before making this change, maybe if people realized the gravity of the situation they would appreciate the work that our staff and artists are putting into all this

We do understand how much effort the staff is putting into this, but not all of us agree with the change. Some people, like me, were very attached to the old lines and it's a tough CS change. I have been on CS since April of 09' and I was very used to them, so seeing them go is a little tough. I hope some of you will be a little more understanding. It's not that we don't know/care how much work the staff is putting in, we just don't agree with the change and it will take us a bit to get used to it. So please, cut us who don't agree a bit of slack. c: The staff seems to be doing the best they can, keeping the same designs and all. Give them some slack too. They have a ton of horses to redesign.

Just a question for the mods; I have every single pet made saved to my computer including the old lineart horses (It's not creepy if I make CS graphics as a hobby, I swear!) Would I be allowed to make a thread for transparent versions of the old lineart so those who missed them can have them?

I do agree with this. I am not saying I don't appreciate it but I preferred the old lines. They had more character in my eyes.
