For All the Wrong Reasons (a dark humor fantasy, accepting)

Deciding to deal with relocking the van and moving his motorcycle later, Achen pulled the metal door of the 'hotel' up a ways and ducked inside, flicking on a light switch to power a couple bare lightbulbs hanging from the ceiling inside. This partially lit up a storage room that seemingly hadn't been cleaned nor touched in decades. A doorway to the right lead into a dark kitchen, but Achen ignored it and turned to a large, lacquered wooden door. He reached for the doorknob, then stopped, turned back to Crow-chick, and demanded "What are you, anyway?" Wait, that sounded rude. He amended himself: "My name is Achen. What are you?"

Kyoki flew silently into the room, looking around in the 'hotel room'. It was more like a storage room that had yet to be cleaned up, and it was like a mini-messy house, complete with a few more doors leading off somewhere. Achen suddenly stopped as he was about to unlock the wooden door and turned to ask him," What are you anyway-I mean my name is Achen, what are you?" Kyoki smirked. Heh, correcting a mistake in front of a 'lady' he couldn't miss this. Smiling, he purred," I'm a demon~ A crow-dream demon mix~" He grinned inwardly, wondering how Achen would react to his confession.

Ugh, it is a demon, Achen thought to himself. And a mutt at that? Weren't those a sign of the apocalypse or something? If so it was a pretty redundant sign. He already knew some sort of apocalypse was supposed to be coming. And like it or (far more likely) not, having a demon or two around might be helpful. Or totally backfire and make everything worse. Yeah, Crow-demon was definitely going to destroy everything in a two-mile radius and cause a world-wide panic that would make hunting without being caught and burnt and the stake impossible for as long as there were people around to hunt. Well, Achen supposed he might as well mitigate the possible damage.
"No Hell portals." He opened the wooden door to reveal the lobby for (what seemed to have once been) an actual hotel.
[[Let's say it looks something like this, only covered in inches of dust and a bit torn up by many small animals who've tried living there since it was abandoned.]]

Kyoki grinned at Achen's crest-fallen expression and pouted unhappily when Achen told him,"No Hell Portals" But who needed portals when you could simply appear in someone else's dreams to torture help them? But his expression brightened up as soon as he arrived into the abandoned hotel. It looked like a theme of Ghost Hotel where everyone gets haunted, but more cooler. Grinning, he ignored Achen as he dashed over to the nearby coffee seed grinder, beside the grinder was a small container of seemingly ancient coffee seeds that Kyoki got interested in. He took out a couple of coffee beans and popped them in his mouth, chewing... "Hmmm... Mmmm~" Quite ignorant to whatever Achen was feeling now.

Two questions; do we make our own forms (just confirming) and can you repeat species? Like, would you be able to have two werewolves, etc.?))

((I'm not sure, but I think the forms you have to make by yourself, and of course you can repeat species, thought it'll be cooler to have new ones! Up to you, but I'm not the one in charge, but that's all I know~ ))

[[Yonaka is right! Forms are optional/whatever you make of it, and species can be repeated. It would be cool to have some mythical consistency when that happens, but you can just go with 'different breed' and then change anything]]

Achen watched Crow-demon run around excitedly. He listed off his rules for visitors flatly, confident no one was listening, and topping them off with "If you don't think you're capable of following these rules, it would be best for you to leave while it is still dark. Otherwise, stay in this building. You can choose yourself a room upstairs, and I believe you saw the kitchen when we came in. There are more... fish and coffee beans there? I must go track down the other guests."

Kyoki spat out the coffee bean after tasting the too-bitter century old taste left one his tongue and pouted unhappily, the whole place was starting to get dusty so Kyoki was sneezing as the dust flew around. Grumbling a little as he heard Achen list off the rules, especially the whole "leave in the night" part, he was about to tell Achen to screw the rules and get on with it but thought better of it. It would not be pleasing if someone of a noble clan started insulting random people out of boredom or fun.... Nodding his head reluctantly, Kyoki flapped his wings, going up to one of the ledges placed high near the ceiling and sat there, staring at Achen from his position, like a crow watching a 'shiny-thing'.
