Picture 2:
Innocence
White as a cloud,
Pretty as a rose,
She soars
with velvet wings.
Her eyes twinkle.
Her songs sparkle.
There lives more life to her
than herself,
More depth to her
than her flight.
In her home live
three little ones;
Her love devotes itself
to newborn innocence.

Picture 3:
For Her Baby Girl
Her hands fell to her sides,
Desperation filling her every breath
As she read the last line
Of the tiny note, as small as
She felt at that moment.
He was gone.
She knew it was inevitable,
But a girl can dream, right?
Her eyelids fell over her eyes,
A sure sign of despair.
Her heart gave into sorrow.
Her baby girl crawled in,
And crawled into her lap.
Mommy made her little girl giggle
While her heart cried.
But she knew one thing
The instant her little girl came:
She had to be strong for her baby girl.
So, wiping away her tears,
She tickled her daughter
And played with her.
They laughed.

Picture 3:
I'm The One You Want
A cloud of guilt hung over me,
A curtain of shame hung in front of me,
A shadow of sorrow followed me.
My perfection crushed in a blinding flash,
My innocence ceased in an unthinkable moment,
My justice ripped from me before I knew it.
The innocent and pure little girl died inside me,
The honest and kind little girl ditched me,
The warm-hearted and simple girl left me alone.
What have I to live for?
What kept me alive?
What helped me survive?
Just the want to die knowing I tried,
Knowing I did all I could,
Knowing I fought against life’s temptations.
When life takes me around the corner,
And I find people waiting to say to me,
“I know you’re innocent, so who did it?”
I want to scream,
“Take me away.
I’m the one you want.”

One more for picture 3:
Heart
My body turns one way,
But my heart turns another.
With one last glance,
My heart shatters.
I put one foot in front of the other,
But my mind stays behind.
With a sad smile,
I wave goodbye.
Knowing life is this way
Tears my heart apart.
Seeing red all around me,
On the walls of the dorm.
Seeing red all around me,
In my life, in my dreams.
Knowing this is where life takes me
Tears my heart apart.
Knowing this is goodbye,
A heavy heart comes with me.
And my true heart stays behind.
