Write me a letter She had said the day before, as he kissed her paw goodbye. She laughed and waved at him as he went down the steps. She closed the door gently and watched him from the window.
~
She dipped her head in sorrow. The last time she had seen him alive. The letter rested on her paws, along with a candle to light the way. Light the way to heaven,candle. Light the way to heaven. She whispered.
~
The important things were rested on the grave.The rose he had given her last week. Wilted now. She plunged an arrow into it, the same that had killed him. There was still blood on it. She didn't care. Another candle topped the grave. The soul cake lay in the dirt now. And the bag, oh the bag. She wouldn't be needing those again. She shifted slightly, and so did the bag. The hat and a corner of the dress fell out and trailed in the mud. A small, choked spun came from her throat. Angered, she threw the bag away, and it landed in a nearby brook. Good riddance She thought. It would only bring back memories later on. That's why she was also leaving the ring and the necklace. The letter could go. Shed debated throwing her four-beaded necklace the same way. After all, it had been his. She lifted it over her head and put it gently to rest with the rest of the memories.
~
So came the first, and so far only, tear of the night. A scar of twilight, he would've said. Two moons, impossible. They represented many things. High above the trees where the two crescents lay, there were many stars. Stars were memories. Moons were lovers. She could be a lonely lover now. All by herself. It was not just her and him in those moons. Many lovers. None she cared about. Wrapping her scarf tightly around her, she blew out the candles and walked off into the night.
~
The woods were a creepy place. She regretted throwing both candles away. Unlike the gravesite, there were no rickety old street lamps. She could not see the moon now. Walking faster. She needed to get out of the woods. She was not on the path now. In the undergrowth. Saw a light. Heard a voice. You are not alone
~Yah, just me and my terrible writing skills again. Like I said in a previous dress-up, I'm practicing writng romantic so I can tell Twilight's and Forest's story in a suitable genre. Of course, I still have a long way to go xB
I'll leave you to decide what happened to the girl. I'm too lazy c;
