I can't think of an anime that DOESN'T draw from Japanese/Shinto mythology - Naruto at least is not a direct rip, as the dragonball series is: See, Journey to the West. I mean, Naruto pulls some form that story, too - But much less so than DBZ. Since Enma's only the most tertiary of tertiary characters.

Saying DBZ is "original" is so far from the truth, it's funny. xD
