Yes they are... I thinks Gaara's story is sort of new though I mean he was so called loved by being spoiled, being the Kazekage's last son. Then is father tried assasinating him plenty times while his uncle, Yashimaru, "Loved" him and cared for him. Then one day that love was betrayed and easily taken away and from that day on he never cared for anyone else and only wanted to kill everyone to prove his existence right?

No, it's old. Naruto has copied so many things that it ain't even funny. It shoulda ended a while ago.

I still like it... especially how long it is.

The only anime I watch is Naruto, and the occasional Death Note. So I truly have no idea if they copied anything. But it still gets you if their past is sad. I think I've cried with Gaara's childhood, Hokage's funeral, Naruto's childhood, Sasori and Granny Chiyo's past, and quite possibly a few other things.

Naruto had it bad two growing up , but i think that Gaara had it a litte harder , and Naruto knows how Gaara feels to be all alown and to have a monster in side him. That is why i love thar frindship , it is just full of understading , and loyalty to one another , thar frinds , and thar village.
