Sunshine purred and lay her head back down on the moss tiredly. Her eyes fasted on Cherrykit, thinking absently.

Cherrykit got to her paws and unsteadily began to make her way to the big bright hole in the wall of the den.

Nutkit mewls, stumbling slightly. He still hadn't opened his eyes, as they were sealed shut with gunk.

Flintbreeze turns to Cherrykit, "Cherrykit?" He asks, padding after her slowly.

Cherrykit mewled something and poked her head out of the den entrance, her tiny jaw dropping at the enormous world outside.

Sunshine licked Nutkit's forehead, sniffing him to check that he wasn't hurt or anything.

Nutkit mewls in frustration, trying to open his eyes.

Flintbreeze looks over at Nutkit. "Sunshine, can you watch Cherrykit while and get the stuff out of Nutkit's eyes?" He asks.

"Of course it is! I-I've been thinking about it actually..." Silverstorm admitted. She nuzzled him back happily.

Sunshine nodded, getting up and sitting by Cherrykit. "It's big out there, isn't it?" she asked her kit, loosely curling her tail around the small cat. Cherrykit squeaked something that sounded like agreement.

"You're not the only one." meowed Blackhaze, licking the top of her head. "Are you ready? Or is this too quick?" he asked, touching his nose to her cheek.

[squirelife]

Silverstorm purred and closed her eyes. She began to wonder if she truly was ready for the responsibility. She opened her eyes and looked up at Blackhaze. She knew then that she was ready. Blackhaze was he most amazing mate and would be an even better father. "I'm ready." She said.
