Mercedes let out a soft whimper that was barely audible and begun to grow tired. Darn her weakness. She struggled to stay awake but it grew more hard.

Eden began to struggle, not know what to do. She flexed, she bent, she moved. And there was no way she could bite him, she wasn't in her reach. When she felt pain, she absolutely lost it. She didn't know how, but she managed to swim a bit and trash more harshly.

"Hang in there." Connor's soothing voice said softly as they drew closer until they arrived at the main palace. He called out for a healer.

Cadyn

Cadyn continued to hold her upside down despite her last leg of thrashing. He did not blame her for the attack and instead let the calm and assertiveness resting in his body seep into her paniced one. It should calm her down a bit and the physical touch would ground her once she got over her spat of temper. His tail pressed against and moved with hers and he kept his grip firm..."Settle down" he gritted out.

Mercedes sighed shakily. Her eyes drooped, as she inhaled roughly and sleepily. "I want to sleep.." She murmured softly and clung to Conner.

"Don't sleep almost there." He promised as he headed towards the infirmary where he gently handed her over to some of the healers, "I'll be right outside if you call me i'll be right there." He reassured as the healer's swept her away.

Just like it began, it slowly started to go away. The first thing that registered her mind was the pain. The second thing, body weight. Lastly, she went limp. She went into comeplete and total submission. The bad side, she stopped moving and couldn't get water to move over her gills. Eden waited patiently for the prince to get off of her. Any day now. If she were in her other form, her face would have been bright red.

Cadyn

Cadyn smirked and chuckled before moving off of her after a few moments..if she could speak then her rational mind was in control. He slid off of her and flicked his tail gently to round over in front of her before helping her upright. "Sorry for the rough handling but I couldn't let you just eat me despite however yummy I may appear. "He teased gently trying to bring her spirits up. "You ok?" he gently plied pressure to the wounds knowing they would close soon of their own accord because they were very minor...deep puncture wounds but they were clean cuts.

Mercedes felt the pain and exhaustion grip her. She let the sleep crash over her like a wave and slept, her breathing was ragged and shaggy.
