Personality: Frito loves to use his small size to his advantage, whether it be swimming in his pond or resting on a lily pad it does not matter. Frito does not always get along with the other Teacup Dragons because he has a competitive side that tends to come out more often than he'd like. He does have one friend how ever whom he loves dearly and that is a fish who lives in his pond with him (fish to be named later). Frito has no vices (except for that competitive edge, but who doesn't like a good competition every now and then?). Once Frito knows who he can trust he opens up like a shell, and all of his playfulness and his good intentions come out, even if he is in your face for most of the time. There is one thing that Frito can not stand, and that is being made fun of for the colors of the flower on his back, he may have a somewhat girly colored flower, but he is definitely not girly.

The name Puakai comes from the hawaiian translation of "Ocean flower, sea blossom",
Pakai being a different and simple interpretation.

Silly
Pakai enjoys many activities, including a swim in large puddles or taking a stroll under flowers after rain. She loves being around water, her flower showing this by always having little droplets spread across almost every petal. Though she always seems to be dry in general, her flower is the complete opposite. She can be silly in certain conversations, being funny without noticing it. She's a big klutz, so she tries to use her tail for balancing herself out. This makes her look a bit odd when she sways her tail side to side for no particular reason in from of others. She usually hits her tail against items near her, and if it is another dragon she asks for an apology. She cannot see forward during a windy day, her lily pad always blinds her when she strolls in a certain direction. Her mind is always in the clouds which others can't really see with the leaf covering her eyes most of the time.
Kind
No matter who you are, Pakai always treats others with hospitality and respect. She does not believe in acting harsh or weird around others if you have not even met them. She is always open to others in need and will do her best to help, even though her clumsiness will most likely get in the way of any progress of the task. She does not like to actually be playful, she enjoys a more calm scenario such as a nice chat near a log or a stroll through the meadow filled with flowers. Many times she does not notice someone near her unless her attention is pulled towards them, always thinking of other things that have happened or her own personal thoughts blocks most of what occurs in reality. If she does realize someone is near or is trying to speak with her she will forget everything she was doing and gladly have a small chit chat.
Curious
Pakai has a childish side to herself, with all the thoughts in her mind she never seems to stick to one action at a time. When seeing someone new or an actual item or place, she sticks to it until she realizes what it is and what it does. With scenery, she explores the area with caution, smart enough to know that she can get easily hurt by being so fragile compared to the large objects in front of her. When meeting new people she may act silly near them for a few moments until she gets a proper interpretation of who they are and how they act. Usually when finding new objects she always stays back to see if it moves then walks up to it when she has an idea of it being safe to go to it at this time. With a bit of common sense she does know when to stay away from dangerous objects that she walks past, sneaks quietly through it to continue her small "investigation".
Calm
With her little traits her and there, she is overall calm in most situations. She takes responsibilities for any problems she has caused and does not feel shame in doing it, because her morality knows she must not lie to someone to get away from something she truly did do. When not around others is when she acts childish, but near others she acts mature and proper, since one of her least favorite things to do is embarrass herself. you must be very close to her if she allows herself to act silly and hyper near you without the fear of being suspected as "weird". When caught doing these silly acts, she either goes to water and ducks under it to be seen as a normal flower floating by, or she ducks under her flower to pretend to be a flower growing naturally in the ground. Pakai does think that acting well towards others gets you out of fights or other bad situations, so staying quiet is the best way to go.

Quirks:
-When acting shy or embarrassed, Pakai hides her face with the lily pad on her head, which comes in handy not only when hiding from being seen by prey, but with others who find her at the wrong time, usually when acting childish privately to escape embarrassment.

-When in an awkward or embarrassing conversation or in the middle of an action, she gets nervous and starts to stutter as well as giggling, not knowing what she can do to lighten the situation or escape from the scene quickly without them noticing.

-One of her dislikes are when others catch her from behind or away from her peripheral view, she lets out a squeak out of being surprised or of fear, not knowing who the person was or just mainly being caught off guard.

-A cute little quirk she can't stop herself from doing is sleeping on her stomach rather than curled up, it just seems more comfortable to her than to be in a ball to fall asleep, she seems more relaxed spread out anyways.

Why you want her?:
Oh dear she is just so adorable, at least in my eyes i see her as a cute little gal <3 I love her design in general, and i love lily pads in general, so shes just well rounded overall! There are not many words i can say to get my point through, i would just start to mumble on about her, so to shorten it i would love to keep her for a few reasons such as practicing my style on dragon anatomy, which i do truly need to improve on, and drawing her would make the steps entertaining and worth it to see the product of my effort <3 After i finish my stack of art orders i am sure to continue to draw this lovely dragon, i cannot resist trying out for her, she's just adorable no matter what view i see her in! Whoever gets to keep him/her depending on their view will be very lucky <3

A True Lady...
Lys has been, since she first hatched, raised and groomed in a life of class and style. Parties, fashion, art, the little dragon was bred for it all and born in the heart of it; Paris, France. Not only that, but right in the reflection of the gorgeous Eiffel Tower.
Others who see her claim her to be a well tasted girl with no finer purpose than to live for the sophisticated life. And she lives to this idea fully. Her taste in clothes and little accessories always start trends among other dragons, and she is actually quite a people person. She isn't afraid to step out and show off a bit, though this terrifies others of her kind. For this, she often gains reward in invites to parties and tea constantly, which she attends in her finest and smiling her best.

Who's Not Afraid to get Dirty...
As much a lady she is, she despises the one stereotype of being only a hostess or party goer. This is the one thing she will refuse to be alone, priding herself to be more than your average dragon, and defies it in her painting and will to stand out. If she sees another dragon with prettier eyes, or a person with finer clothing, then she will become instantly jealous in her pride. And though she puts on a tight smile to them, there's a plot brewing in her head to get back to being the more superb. She is such a jealous girl, in fact, that she has become the most professional liar you can find so she can get out of tight spots.
In her schemes and behind the sweetness you can find a dragon who aspires for perfection. Sadly, she also believes she is perfection (don't tell her I said that!). She will look down upon anyone and everyone, pointing out their flaws with harsh honesty. And if you even breath a word about her flaws, she will become enraged and hide the flaw. This often also leads to her sulking and cursing much when home alone. But hey, what can you do; perfection isn't easy!

And has Quite a Few Quirks!
When not in chatter or plotting another's social demise, Lys actually has a side few know about. She will sit and gaze from a lily pad or from the reeds of her home at the Eiffel Tower, admiring it's beauty and perfection and dreaming of one day visiting the top. Not an easy task for a dragon like her, what with no wings and inability to slide through crowds without making herself known. In replacement to this, however, she has collected quite a few small tokens through her plots which she stores in the bank of her pond away from others eyes. Among them chiefly are many figurines of the tower of varying sizes, coins depicting the tower, the finest makeup and wardrobe for a dragon of her size, and a paint set.
The paint set is perhaps her favorite way of escape from the hustle and bustle of high class. Her tail, long and large, is the perfect brush. She will retreat and often paint the tower as she likes, perhaps selling it later as she can find no way to make the perfect image of it. But she paints a great deal of other things as well around her home and Paris. In her adventures to look for things to paint, she can't help but to spend a little time at book stores and libraries sniffing through the newest selections. She enjoys reading to the fullest, finding the greatest pleasure in romance novels. If she finds one she likes, all it takes is a flutter of her eyes and she has persuaded someone to buy it and carry it home for her. She keeps these in a box nearby under a willow, and can be found reading them by firefly light. She tries so hard to hide these three little things from her peers, knowing they are not at all ladylike and endanger her status as the perfect girl in the world.

I wasn't looking to adopt a simple dragon, to be honest. I wanted to wait for something more elaborate to take the character I wanted to create and bring it to life. But I looked at her, and suddenly the story of a French Lily teacup sprang out of my head and begged me to apply. It was perfect; her little padded head, her tasteful simple colors so stylish. I think I have found the perfect girl in her!
