(ex; B1, SS3, C6, etc)Why do you want to adopt? It's been a while since I let myself back onto this thread; after adopting Namid, I figured I should try to hold off as much as possible. But I came back tonight, and I fell in love with this little guy - his simple design and inspiration grabbed at me and held me down for a huge cuddle. I want him because he seems to want me, and he certainly promises a lot of love and creativity in his wake.
Rat Name: Makya ["Eagle Hunter" - An ironic name, but so called because of his fondness of drawing birds]
Personality(Likes, dislikes, how they react to people, other rats, etc.):
Makya is a storyteller, an artist, and, despite his size, a giant cuddlebear. He will launch himself at others in order to snuggle next to them, and often starts doodling on his "victims'" bodies, telling a little story with each pictogram. He loves attention and warmth, and loves curling up between the shoulder blades of larger animals such as cats and dogs, as long as they tolerate his presence.
Quirks(Little things like "Enjoys sleeping on her back", "Loves hoarding candy wrappers", etc.):
On top of his stargazing and artistry, Makya tells stories, loves to snuggle, and sleeps on his back, his feet twitching as he dreams. He also often makes a soft clicking noise with his tongue when he is soundly sleeping.
What do you plan on doing with your rat(Roleplay, Make art of, Hoard art of, etc.)?
Like all of my characters, Makya would be written about and drawn, mostly; I also have a thread where I commission artists, and I often buy little plastic figurines and paint them to look like my characters. They also have taken hold of my mind, and I'm rarely without them at any point in the day.
If you feel you can no longer care for your Rat, will you return it here to find a new home?
Oh, goodness, yes. There is no doubt at all that I would return him if need be.
Story(link to it if it's Oekaki):Makya looked up, sitting on his haunches as he admired the sky. It was a clear night, and the constellations danced above him like a perpetually moving slow-motion movie. He imagined the Big Bear caring for her Little one, while running away from Orion and the Dog. And then there was the great Dragon, moving to shield her - but in his stories, he is never fast enough. He just barely gets there - but the Little One is safe, and is raised by the giant beast. The one to avenge the Big Bear is always different, though; Some days, Makya yearns for that immediate feeling of safety, and lets Draco kill him. Others, he seeks revenge, and the Little Bear grows strong and healthy... and he takes revenge. And then, in some retellings, it is Chronos and Death that take the Hunter, and the Bear and Dragon forgive the once-strong archer. That is Makya's favorite ending; peace and tranquility. And growth.
He chittered quietly, asking the silent sky for the true story, as he had every other time he'd caught himself gazing into the heavens and reading their stories. He longed to know the truth, for the most part...but much of him was afraid that it would ruin the skies for him. It would ruin his stories. Besides, it was not the right time for such musings; the full moon was lowering in the sky, and the sun would rise soon enough. It would not do to be awake by then.
With a huge yawn, Makya flipped onto his back, the snow coating his fur cooling his pelt and creating a comfy miniature pillow. He fell asleep with his head in the clouds and his eyes on Sirius, contemplating the Dog's love of fluffy dogs beds when he wasn't chasing after poor mother bears.
[Shall be adding as I get more concrete parts of the story done. <3]
