Stella; Servatis; Betess
Stella had been antsy to just go already. She listened intently to Sock's plan once more, realizing how soothing yet masculine Sock's voice was. She almost got lost in his words for a brief second, but something he said snapped her out of it. Angel, a warrior was going along with him. She playfully glared at her with a small smile on her face. She stared at her friends plain white coat, slightly brown from the dirt surrounding the area.
Angel glared back, then quickly looked away to Socks. Angel seemed to have a knowing smirk on her face while doing this. Stella tipped her head in response, cocking her eyebrow. She pulled her curious eyes away from Angel and over to Socks. As he was finished explaining, he held his gaze on her a little longer than necessary. He started up again, head held high.
"Tanvi, Haze. Come here please." She ordered, staring at them both. "Thank you...Now lets go! Remember, stick together." She added, turning to leave. Oh, how anxious she was!
Stella felt the heat covering her like a blanket. This had to be the hottest time of the day. She shook it off, following behind Socks. She knew she had a risky job; spying on Maleficum. Socks probably had a riskier job; meeting up with the Alpha and whoever knows else. Realizing how far ahead she was of her little pack, she paused to let her group join up with her. She watched the two, turning to start walking again.
As they advanced to the unmarked border, the stench of their rival pack grew more and more unbearable. She wrinkled her nose at the smell; disgusted for some reason. She watched Sock's retreating figure as he went out of sight, into the dence trees. "Why would Maleficum be stealing our little prey on Servatis when there are plenty of game here?" She pondered, trying to come up with a logical solution, but to no avail. She padded back a little, careful to remain unseen. She skillfully hid herself in the long grass, craning her neck as she scanned the trees ahead of her.
She swished her tail nervously, biting her bottom lip. She didnt want to get caught; what would happen then? She shuddered slightly at the thought of anything bad happening. Quick to recover, she finally started examining her surroundings; it might be of use if a fight breaks out. Her mother had told her alot of useful advice, but she couldnt seem to remember any of it at that moment. Stella was starting to have second thoughts about this whole thing... "I cant back down now! What would that look like to the rest of the pack? A frightened little betess who doesnt know how to fight...But that is far from the truth..." She shook her head a little, thinking of all the fights she picked when she was younger; every single one she came out victorious.
She looked over to Haze, who was also hidden in the tall grass. With a small twitch of her ears, she relayed the message to go along. She turned her head over to Tanvi, signaling him to stay put. They could use some extra back-up if things got messy. She did feel bad about having one of them stay behind, but it was for safety reasons. She crouched lower to the ground, her belly skimming along the earth. She creeped her way over to a nearby tree, always aware of the sights, sounds, and smells. Her senses had to be more acute than normal; it was a necessity for spying. Being an expert in this field, she was really putting her knowledge to the test. She even experimented an old method she had picked up from some loners.
She huddled herself into a tiny ball, still on her feet. She kept her head low to the ground, her ear almost touching the dirt beneath her. She listened for the paw steps of Haze in the earth. Stella was fairly surprised this old trick worked! She heard a faint vibration bouncing off the ground, which was Hazel coming closer. She smiled to herself before lifting her head to look at Haze. Her attention shifted to a male, scent heavy with Maleficum.
A low growl escaped her throat. "Are we on your side of the border, Sir Territorial?" She snapped at him, not intent on being courteous. "Didn't think so!" She added, narrowing her eyes at the unknown male. She stood in a guarded position in front of Hazel, her haunches coiling up. She let another growl escape, baring her teeth. She didn't know how he would react, but honestly, she didnt care.
Angel; Servatis; Warrior
Angel was surprized to be going along with Socks and Thunder. She glanced over to Stella, soon comprehending her crush on the Alpha. She looked back over to Socks with a smirk. She followed Thunder, trying hard to keep up with him. "Wow! How fast can this kid go?" She thought in silent amazement. He had paused a few times to allow her to catch up, but every time she would just drag behind. She soon gave up, following quite a distance behind Thunder.
When the three finally arrived at Maleficum's border, she was sketchy at first. The land seemed so supple and full of life; while on the other hand, Servatis was a dainty little territory with few game. She couldnt imagine why they would steal food from their side of the border.
Angel stifled a giggle at Sock's remark to the huge wolf. He did scare her, but she had full trust that he wouldnt hurt her. SHe had no idea why, but a feeling of calmness washed over her as she walked deeper and deeper into Maleficum's territory. She felt as if she had belonged here her whole life, but she scarcely even knew the area. Herself and Thunder finally stopped, waiting a distance away from Socks and Nike, the Alphess of Maleficum.
The precence of Spencer finally brought up a feeling of worry, doubt, and fear all mixed together. She felt nervous around him, making her way to the other side of Thunder to hide herself. She lashed her tail violently, darting her eyes everywhere. She brought her thoughts to Socks and Nike's conversation. What would happen?
She whispered to Thunder,
"What do you think their talking about?" She looked up to him, trying to find a hint of worry in his expression.
"How y'all doin'? I'm Lil'
Tunechi~"
