In fact, I cussed the other day when I saw an advert for mlp. That's just how much the stupid things annoy me.

I agree. Why so much freaking pony things everywhere? The other day, I was talking to my friend about horses, and someone random came in and started talking about MLP. Seriously. How could something that used to be aimed at 5 year olds be so popular?

speaking as someone who enjoys mlp, i find the messages in the show so... uplifting. and its such a happy show; ive watched it when ive felt down and its lifted my mood quite a bit. pretty much, i thoroughly enjoy the show because of its innocence and child-like nature. maybe thats why its so popular?

The news that Lady Thatcher's dead will be taking up the whole of the news channel now. I've had it on for 15 minutes and it's STILL on this subject. Yes, she was perhaps slightly iconic but honestly. I just want to watch some freaking news! Yes, I'm sad. But that doesn't mean I'm happy about the news channel being dedicated directly to her and nothing like news. If a famous, old singer died they would never make such a big fuss about it.
