My best memory was all the fun events. Oh, and the week without a Friday. I played that snake game waayyy to long.
My worst regret was probably when I almost got banned for art theft on accident. I payed my time, and am no longer like that. I was a newb at the time. I got banned from posting on roleplays for a month.

I think some if my greatest moments on CS have been when I gift other people, or once when I was given a purple sleipnir (to help my goal of all malk pets) I nearly died xO

My bigest regret is joining in feb. x.x just missed the december advent and I had to wait almost a whole year to get any good pets ugh :c

Sure doesnt feel like I've been here for a year o: thank you CS for all the happiness your site and community have given me!

I've been on chicken smoothie for 4 of the 5 years c: I don't really have a best memory, because I enjoy everything that happens on the site x3 though, I have to say the time my friend got two nontags for December 18th is quite memorable! Also when I adopted my first UR in 2009 - I got the apple <3 maybe also the time Sorren swore and everybody quoted her in their sigs XD worst memory would have to be when malk quit because she had been an artist the whole time I was here, and I loved her owls :c

Happy birthday, CS!

It seems like every year, this site grows to be something better, more complex, more insane, and more... amazing. I've met some wonderful, amazing, spectacular people on here, and I've gained (and, in some cases, said farewell to) so many friends over the years that I've been on. Five years... it's a huge age for a website,and something to really be proud of, for users and staff alike. <3 I remember adopting my first dogs and joining my first big group of coal-loving goofs back in Christmas 2009, when I made little fake coal pets for people in Paint and Picasa. I remember deciding on my dreampets that Christmas, and I remember getting all five of my beloved Rose dogs over the next couple of years, even though I really had no hope of getting them when I first picked them as my "dreamies". I remember when I was so ignorant that I gave away a List pet... but, by some miracle, reclaimed that very same pet after a few months from another user. I remember working to establish myself, first by maintaining the Swap Thread series for the year and a half or so, I think, then turning my attentions to character adoptions, and apparently, according to several people, becoming the guru for that part of the boards. And then, I remember when my sister joined the staff, of course, and I still have the notice that I was picked for Archivist. All the while, I've been helped along by people that I have never met, and never would have come across if it wasn't for a few seconds of curiosity when I saw a green dog with wings growling at me from a Waja cave back in March 2009.

Sure, there have been fights and spats, rebellions and "wars" - I found an old sketch I did of a chick dressed as Avian, drawn when Nick took over the site one April Fool's - but I couldn't trade all of that time, all of those friendships and all of that love - not even a second of it - for anything. <3

Thank you for the last four years that I've been around... and here's to another five. cx

I've been here since August 2008. Found the site when I clicked a green caterpillar pet on someone's Howrse.de profile, and just HAD to adopt some of the fabulous pets myself.

This pretty lady was my first one. She looked so awesome as a 'pillar, and even more awesome when grown up.
I registered my forum account later in September, and oh gosh, I remember how back then it seemed so... small and cozy in here xD
Now it's big and cozy, so nothing changed to the worse, actually. Just that I'm not quite as nervous any more as I was when I started posting xD

My biggest regrets are probably not adopting more pets when I joined (the Toxics, the Toxicsssssss ;___; And the September Cakes!), as well as trading most of the ones I had.

But there are so many wonderful memories connected to this site, I probably couldn't name them all if you gave me a year to list them.
Among the most notable, though...
There was the time when for the first time I self-adopted a pet that I knew would be especially rare. That was the Joker I got from the Card litter. It was such an awesome feeling to know that I actually got a pet that was told to be very rare.
I also still remember getting my dream pets. I've been searching for them for three years since I'm not the most efficient trader, but in the end got them all.
Related to dream pet stuff - I totally flipped the heck out when the April-June 08 dogs were re-released for Advent 08.
Used to admire the Vixen in Solloby's little archive so often, and that day of December when I saw I could go and get one for myself... asdfghjl- ultimate happiness.

But not all memories have to do with the pets, although I never got bored of the site's main focus xD
I also love this site for the friends I've made here, for the community I became a part of, for the general kindness.
I've seen few communities that are as welcoming and friendly as CS. And this is something special, something I don't want to part from, which is why I probably won't ever quit unless the site itself goes black forever. (Note to Tess: Don't.do.this.to.me. D: )
A special thank you here goes to the wonderful people on the German Thread. I remember each reincarnation of our home with all the great and all the terrible moments. But no matter what happened, I'm glad I have been there. I'm glad I met you guys. You know who you are, and who knows, maybe one day I'll actually meet you IRL (after one failed attempt in December *laugh*).
But I've made friends across all of CS, sometimes in the most unlikely ways.
And sometimes it just needed one, tiny PM. Or a forum post. Or a trade, which is how I got to know one of the most amazing persons in existence (you know who you are as well, and don't you dare to deny it. Seriously, don't! I just officially declared you awesome, you have no right to say otherwise!)
I've met people here which I couldn't have met otherwise. For that, I will forever be thankful.

And last, but not least: CS taught me English xD I don't think I could have learned so much in five years without it. School is one thing, but CS made me use the language on a daily basis, giving me the best opportunity to practise.
So it's safe to say that this site helped my education xP

CS itself has also improved so much over the years. I remember getting all excited about the account system, the trades, the items, the wishlist, the events, new artists, new species... Absolutely everything.
The team puts such an effort into the site, its incredible.
It keeps getting better and better, and I'm proud to be part of something so amazing.

I really, really don't know what I'd do without this pixel pet adoptable website. It's a part of my everyday life. I love it.
Daily visits, eagerly awaiting the release of new pets or yet another awesome event... Staying up late at night to see my pets grow *laugh*... CS is full of awesome.

Happy Birthday CS!

I've been on here for just over a year now,however it already feels like my second home.I've always been rubbish at making friends,but I've made so many here,and there are so many helpful people on here too.

It's CS that's gotten me started on doing more and more detailed drawings and it's helping me shape a path for my future.I've really enjoyed everything on here,the pets especially,and all the people on here

My biggest regret is forgetting I had a CS account.Yup.It was back in 2010 and I signed up,messed about a bit,checked the Pound,logged of AND...
...Forgot

So when I came back 2 years later,everything had changed but I still recognised the site as it was(NOTE:This is a new account,old one has been deleted )

One of my greatest joys was recieving the Clydesdale store horse from the Pound
But then the server went down(Yup,I got it on the Friday that disappeared from CS history xD)
You have no idea how upset I was,I like cried for the whole weekend(however,that game was fun xD)

But I've manged to get it back,and I've achieved so many dreamies I couldn't of achieved without my friends

So Happy Birthday CS,and let it last forever

I guess my one of biggest my regrets is when I was just pretty new to the forums, I wasn't entirely familiar with the rules, and earned myself a board warning. I was scared silly to post on the forums after that, but I've learned from my mistakes c;

One of my best memories I've had was during LOLO last year! It was really fun and I enjoyed it immensely. I made so many new friends during that event, one of them being my wifey, Swiftalu. <3

I also still have my first pet ever, Eagle, with her original name and everything. <3


And I'm also very grateful to the user ~*Reeses*~, who did a date swap with me so I was able to get back my 24th of December re-release back! That was really kind of them and I'm forever grateful. <3
