"I'm not ready for another girlfriend yet".He snarls lowly at Cristina and moves to the end of the bench sitting beside Lilly and watching the funeral begin.

*Mini time-skip to end of funeral*

Dakota left quickly shape-shifting and running off not wanting to be seen crying. His fur moved against his pelt quickly as he ran away from his pack before stopping at the top of the mountain and letting out a mournful howl.

[Sorrelfur]

Christina growled and shape-shifted. She ran into the forest crying.

[Freedom~Tonight]

Lilly watched him go and ran after him. She caught up with him and put her tail between her legs, crawling to his side and pressing her nose to his hip. **She will be missed...and they will pay...** A snarl entered her voice at the end.

Sam sighed and looked at Christina. "Smooth." He walked out of the church, knowing Dakota wanted space. He shifted and ran after Christina to comfort her,

Christina growled, **Why's he always reading my thoughts! I wasn't even thinking that!**

Same sighed and pressed his nose to her shoulder. **He is alpha. It's kind of his job...**

Dakota turned around and stopped howling his blue eyes bore into hers.*There's no need to be submissive right now, I understand your grateful for her death because you want to be closer to me, but right now I'm not wishing to have another girl-friend**.

[Sorrelfur]

(gtg dinner, don't go ahead without me!)

Christina growled.

Dakota just sighed slightly and looked away from Lilly.

Lilly straightened up and sat beside him, looking back evenly into his eyes. **I know, and I understand that. I just want to help you.** She paused for a moment, knowing he would read her thoughts anyways. **I know you know that's what I want, but mostly I just want you to be happy.** She knew it sounded corny, but it was true.

Sam looked at her. **What?!** His hazel wolf eyes sparked in defense.

Dakota shook his head before getting up back onto his paws. His rusty colored fur shone in the sunlight. **I'm not ready for another girlfriend**. He knew the others could here him talking and thinking but he didn't care much.**I'm also thinking about leaving the rank of Alpha".
