The hunters. Fierce and loyal humans with extraordinary power and strength. You are brave and fearless, quick and cunning, deadly and powerful.

The shifters. Wily shape-shifters who look human, but have the characteristics of their soul guardian - their familiar. You are mighty, clever and brave, tricky and rarely seen. They can also shift into their familiar.

Which side are you on?

Once, an island upon the equator near to a place once known as Africa was inhabited by a group of hunters and shifters. That island was destroyed after those hunters and shifters failed to fulfill their prophecy. Now, the last of any race that once existed now lives on the coast of the remains of Africa.

Element Manipulation - the user can influence and manipulate the powers of the elements to their use.
Upside - gives the user power over the elements to be used in battle, and is very powerful.
Downside - it can very difficult to control.
Aura Absorbtion - the user can see others' auras, and use them to take their lives, powers and or special aspects away.
Upside - easy to control, and the user gains whatever powers she is taking for a random length of time.
Downside - swaps the taken powers and abilities for her own for a random length of time (while still leaving the prey powerless). Also takes a lot of energy.
Shadow Manipulation - the user can influence and manipulate shadows to their use.
Upside - the user gains maximum stealth and invisibility.
Downside - Extremely energy taxing, and can be painful.
Emotional Influence - the user can influence another by pushing a certain emotion or feeling onto them and rendering them incapacitated.
Upside - the user gains power over a person for a short period of time.
Downside - only lasts for a few minutes, and can be painful as some minds are more difficult to influence.
Soul Reader - the user can read every thought and emotion their target is feeling.
Upside - can be used to anticipate the opposition's moves, and what will make him go over the edge. Can be used over a wide range of people at the same time.
Downside - some minds can be mentally scarring and dangerous to enter. Can also cause the user headaches.
Mind Manipulation - the user can bend another person to his will, and influence their emotions.
Upside - can be used in battle in a variety of ways, and to calm someone else to the point of sleep, or just to override panic or grief.
Downside - can cause headaches, some minds are mentally scarring and dangerous, and is energy taxing.
Tracker Vision - the user catches past glimpses of an object he/she touches.
Upside - can be used to track someone who last picked up the item, or to figure out how to use an item.
Downside - can cause extreme headaches, which can incapacitate the user.
Weather Manipulation - the user can influence and manipulate the weather to their use.
Upside - can create the perfect advantage in battle, or for a deadline, and can bring rain in a drought.
Downside - is extremely energy taxing and is also quite difficult.

Absinthe has a slender build with pale ivory skin, unusually scattered with various battle scars. Her most noticeable on runs from her hip, up her abdomen to her sternum, but she usually keep it hidden and out of sight. She has clear, bright green eyes and long eyelashes. Her long, wavy black hair reaches her elbows when not tied back. Absinthe would usually be caught wearing her raggedy black leather jacket, accompanied by black jeans and combat boots. Her tomahawk is secured to a holster strapped onto her back.

She chooses solitude over social interaction, but is the first to be out on the battlefield, which her numerous scars reflect. Even though she may seem cold or rude, she is loyal and willing to defend the hunters to the end. She is a soldier, really nothing more. But if you are ever able to get Absinthe angered enough, she can become merciless and deadly. She has a strange sort of temper.
