Laughing, he deposited the extra bits in his pouch, then glanced back at the blue earth pony browsing the store.

"I'll let you get back to your customers in the meantime. Thank you again, and I'll be by in the afternoon." Waving, he pushed open the door and left the shop.

I perched myself upon the base of a statue, humming the beat to the music that blared through my headphones. For a moment I peeked a look at the area surrounding, then pulled out my earbud.
